“I was looking for a place to spend a couple of days to take a break on while traveling on business & this was a perfect place as it was quiet area. We spent most of our time out on the deck & enjoying the creek & nature. The cabin was clean & well stocked & would highly recommend staying here & will defiantly plan on coming back.”

“The place was great, tiny cabin on a lot with guest-shared bathroom and kitchen. Great location, close and overlooking Nelson. Lovely little patio. My only complaint was that we got there right after a long hike and I really wanted a hot shower and there was some large scary bugs in the shower. But that can’t be helped in a kind of outside bathroom. The host was great and gave us great recommendations on things that were happening in Nelson. ”

“this is an adorable little property! the outdoor seating area is lovely, perfect for a relaxing drink around the fire or for roasting mashmallows with the kids. the bed might actually be the most comfortable bed i've ever slept in. check in was super easy, and the location was amazing. very close to the city making access to services a breeze while also being secluded and peaceful enough that you forget you're essentially still in the city ”

“Glamping paradise! The pictures say a lot, but it's even better in person. Waking up and going to sleep lakeside is a privilege and a pleasure here. The night skies are pure and star-filled. Babs, the owner, is accommodating , personable, and aims to please! We can highly recommend this lovely spot. It's a little work to get down to the cottage, so pack accordingly. But it's SO, SO worth it!!!”

“Love this hidden gem. My son and I enjoyed our stay immensely, and will stay there again when in Nelson. The kitchen had everything we needed, the living room was spacious, my don slept on the sofa and found it comfortable, my bed was really comfy, and the bathroom was nice and roomy. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the tiny house. Kitchen is well equipped, nice size fridge, and lovely propertyview out the large windows. We had a fire one night, which was great, enjoyed the peaceful surroundings with easy access to Slocan, about 10 minutes away. We cycled the Rail Trail and enjoyed exploring the interesting villages close by. ”
