“Property needs renovation and repairs however it was fine to stay for the weekend if you don’t plan to be in your room often. No temperature self regulation, it just gets turned on and off automatically.
The 1915 restaurant is on the expensive side and the diner closes early. The main property, restaurants, etc are a drive from the stone cottages.
Plan for extra travel time if in the stone cottages, there is only a one way exit and requires travel out of the way to turn around and get back to...

“The "apartment" is an extension on a house with its own convenient private entrance. We arrived late at night and the seemingly complicated self-check in directions we received turned out to be very simple. It was also very easy to find a variety of dining options nearby in town.We did not use the pool, but the interior "apartment" was lovely. It would have been helpful to know another renter was staying in an adjacent "apartment". We also couldn't figure out how to adjust the thermostat. Thank...
