“It wasn’t our best trip but it wasn’t our worst. It needs to be advertised more clearly that there are no TVs in the rooms and that the bathrooms are shared bathrooms and the rooms are adjoining. We discovered that ALL the rooms on our floor had the same security code to get in which was concerning. The restaurant was delicious and it was very pet friendly however we left a day early due to the lack of TV and shared bathroom situation. The bed wasn’t comfortable enough to tough out another...

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.”
