☼ Bella Maine Lakefront Getaway ☼

La nostra bella fuga sul lago Maine offre tutti i comfort moderni in una tradizionale casa in stile camp con tre camere da letto sulla riva del lago incontaminato del Sabbath Day, un lago di 1,6 km nella regione dei laghi Sebago. Questa è la nostra seconda stagione.

Goditi le viste mozzafiato sul lago dai nostri due ponti, il nuovo dock da 20 piedi, il soggiorno, la cucina e la camera da letto principale. Abbiamo un molo privato sul lungomare privato e una spiaggia privata in comune a pochi passi di distanza per la nostra associazione dei proprietari di case.

Divertiti a nuotare, pescare, andare in canoa, in kayak o semplicemente rilassati e ascolta gli svassi e cerca le nostre aquile calve. I comfort moderni includono wi-fi, lavatrice / asciugatrice, forno a microonde, TV da 50 pollici, piccolo spazio ufficio. Cucina e bagni recentemente rinnovati.

Abbiamo due kayak, una canoa e due canne da pesca a vostra disposizione.

Non vorrai mai lasciare il campo, ma se lo fai, siamo a sole 24 miglia da Portland, a 17 miglia da Freeport ea pochi minuti dal Maine Wildlife Park, dal Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village, da Pineland Farms e dal Casinò di Oxford. Siamo anche a pochi minuti da campi da golf, negozi e ristoranti.

Beautiful spot on the lake, and a very cozy cabin. We enjoyed the accessibility to Portland, the lighthouses and the fall leaves were wonderful. Some maintenance needed.

This is a lovely lakeside cottage. The house is comfortable and really well-equipped, everything you need is there, especially well- equipped kitchen. It appears the owners use the house and just leave everything there. It is very homey. And the lake is beautiful. I went kayaking every day. Great to have the beach too. The interior pictures don't quite do the place justice. It is really beautifully decorated. The interior stairs are a bit steep for older folks to use the master bedroom, but manageable for most people. And the view from that bedroom is spectacular. This is the best lakeside rental we have ever had.
This was the best sunset.

We had a lot of fun on the lake and spent a ton of time on the deck and the dock. All the boats and paddles were functional, and we had a great time paddling and swimming. We especially enjoyed kayaking/canoing over to the gourmet ice cream shop http://brescaandthehoneybee.com/ on the other end of the lake. On the way back to the house we stopped for a swim at a lovely little swimming beach. We fished daily and caught huge bass right off the dock. Neighbors were pleasant and friendly. We enjoyed fires on the shared beach fire pits.The local brewery was great too, only 6 minutes away, which had live music on the patio on Saturday night and fantastic pizza and beer. Supermarket and farm stands are nearby for groceries. The place was very tidy and well equipped with tons of fresh towels and sheets. The kitchen was packed with dishes, glassware and cookware. We did not need any of the spices, oils or vinegars, games, stereo, coffe makers or toys. We brought our own of all of these.The grill worked well and we used it twice. We really enjoyed the outdoor seating and table where we ate and played games a ton. I would bring one of those fly repellent fans bc sometimes the flies come out when you eat outside -sometimes in the evening only. It bears mentioning that the Maine Interstate and a small highway are close to this end of the lake. At home I live near a highway and I had hoped to escape those sounds for the week, it wasn't loud but it was there.

All the comforts of home with great Lake views, close to everything else you might need

3 Mini split ACs for total cooling was an absolute delight as was the WIFI! Fully adorned kitchen and an amazing primary suite with great lake views from all lake facing windows. An updated ensuite shower and bathroom on the second floor was wonderful. There is a queen front bedroom on the first floor with access to the first floor bathroom/tub shower. There are additional twin double beds upstairs as well, off the primary. The primary bedroom has an incredibly comfortable king bed. Fishing was steady, and you DO need water shoes (which our Host Jerry pointed out well in advance), if you take a dip off the dock due to the rocky bottom. There’s a shared beach 2 doors down that has a sandy and gradual grade into the water. A Canoe and 3 kayaks await. Jerry is accessible, prompt, detailed and accommodating should you have questions. This is a lovely home and we enjoyed our stay, as well as the lake, dock, view, A/C and access to Hannaford’s Supermarket and Pineland Farms café, bakery and shop - not to be missed.

Family vacation

The property on the lake was just what we needed. We enjoyed coffee and reading on the deck and dock. It was wonderful to use the kayaks and paddle boards. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the cooking tools you could need. It is close by many great things to visit.

Fantastic Stay!!!

Traveled from New Mexico to visit with my son. I was looking for a place which would be near my son's residence giving us a centralized place to meet. It was just a few minutes away from my son's residence. House served all our needs and was clean and neat. Beautiful views from windows and deck. Will definitely stay again!!!

Great Lake house

We enjoyed our time at Sabbathday Lake. Great Lake view with kayaking. Saw an eagle and loons. Great ice cream on the other side of the lake. Nice clean accommodations. Would highly recommend.

Private yet close to amenities

Compact cottage with everything you might need and more. Plenty of towels and extra supplies. The beach is shady and the water is nice and shallow for small children. We especially appreciated the air conditioning upstairs and downstairs and the both the king and queen beds were very comfortable. Our hosts were quick to answer our questions about the fishing tackle and we loved seeing the hummingbirds on the window feeder. A nice bonus was the $10 lobster rolls from nearby Hannaford and our daughter in law got to see a moose for the first time at the Maine Wildlife Center.

Relaxing Time

We had a wonderful stay during our trip to Maine. The house is beyond stocked with all that you need for your week - beds were comfy and the view of the pond from the master bedroom was stunning. Great location to day trip to Freeport and Portland.

July Stay

The camp itself and sleeping quarters were very nice with all the amenities. Issues we noticed… No cupboard space for food as cupboards were full. No beach area on the lake. No view from deck. Pitch on all deck furniture. Lower deck was overgrown and not clean which I personally cleaned up. Trash bins were full when we arrived. Owner did have them emptied. The pictures provided were very deceiving and did not represent the view.

Great stay in Jerry and Robyn’s cabin on a quiet lake. Enjoyed evening kayak and proximity to Portland, Freeport, the animal park and the Shaker Village. Hosts incredibly helpful and responsive.

Nice Lake getaway

We had a wonderful stay here. The hosts were extremely responsive to our questions and responded immediately. The home was very clean and had everything you could possibly need, and then some. There was comfortable seating in the living areas and the beds were also very comfortable. It would be awesome if there were less tree cover in the back so the view of the lake was more clear. But sitting on the dock was a beautiful view. Neighbors kept to themselves. The hosts kept a great binder of places to visit / restaurant recommendations in the area and we relied heavily on that when looking to venture out. The Maine wildlife park was amazing. My daughter loved it. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

A piece of paradise

Our family had a wonderful stay at Camp Serenity. Communication with the Silverman's was top-notch and the property is exactly as described. It had the best stocked kitchen out of all the rentals I've stayed in and the HOA beach access was perfect. I would highly recommend this place and chances are, we will be back.

All We Hoped For!

The location was perfect, we specifically wanted to stay on Sabbathday Lake (SO clean!). Everything was smooth, both check-in and out. We were pleasantly surprised by how fully stocked the rental was, from plenty of towels to everything you could think of in the kitchen. The tiniest of things but we couldn't find any trash bags, no worries at all, we left a couple for the next guests! The owners obviously have thought of everything for their guests, thank you!
