Hotel a New Gretna

“Long wait to check in and our room was not ready at 4pm. The room was decent but not thoroughly cleaned. The hallways stink and smelled like cigarettes and weed. The young lady at the Chocolate Box was very sweet, welcoming and helpful!”

“After checking in, I was charged two additional charges for no apparent reason. I called the front desk to ask why, but I received no reasonable explanation, and they simply told me that I had to pay the amount. It was ridiculously expensive.”

“This was by far one of the worse hotel stays I’ve ever had. We checked in two hours after our original 3pm check in time and went upstairs to find our room with the door open, totally destroyed and disgusting. Not clean and not ready for guests. A cleaning lady was then directed to our room, and it took her by herself, over an hour to clean our room (which means we were finally able to enter our room 3 hours after our original check in time). “Firstly, the breakfast timing was changed from 7:00 to 10:00, although the website indicated it was available from 7:00 to 10:00; it was actually altered to 6:30 to 9:30. Secondly, the sink was clogged, and the handle to turn on the water was practically detached; I had to use my hand to operate it since it would not turn on. “Resorts used to be my favorite hotel to go to. This year will be our last. Bathrooms in hotel casino were dirty, backed up etc throughout entire casino floor. I stayed in the 4th floor with my family and the quality of the linen for the beds have changed. The hall itself became very nosy around 11pm and didn't end until around 3am. Overall I've had better stays at Resorts.”
