“It's always a great stay while visiting North Carolina. It is very well staffed with helpful members and the amenities are very good. It's close to alot of shopping centers and good eats. It feels like a home away from home”

“pool not working carpet in the hotel is filthy. Did not stay lost money on the room but I could not stay there. Person at the front desk stated I would receive a refund but I have not received it. 😑”

“I got what I paid for—it was an affordable room for a one-night stay near Wrightsville Beach. However, I would not choose to stay here again. Upon check-in, the front desk had me sign a strict no-smoking policy, yet when we entered our room, there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. As a parent traveling with my children, this was concerning. Unfortunately, it was late in the evening and we weren’t able to make other arrangements, so we made the best of the situation for the night.”

“Horrible stay. We walked in and turned right back out. Dead cockroach’s in the kitchen. Floors look like they had not been swept of mopped. What topped it off for me was the bathroom not clean and the LIVE cockroach I found on the pillow. The smell of the place was nasty. Had kitchenettes but you had to go ask for everything at the front desk. Very gross, will never be back.”

“As a woman traveling by herself, I did not feel comfortable staying at this motel and ended up cutting my time there short. When I returned the first evening to my room, there were several men silently loitering outside right by my room’s door, and I did not feel safe there. Also the room was really worn-out, decrepit and smelly. The family who run the motel were very nice, but that’s the only good thing I could say.”

“The hotel smelled and the rooms were disgusting . Dirty blankets and pillows full of stains . Walls and floors were dirty . Didn’t even stay . Walked in and seen it and immediately left. Looks nothing like the pictures online . And was not able to get refund”

“Roaches in room. Didn't see them until early morning. Poo on bathroom door casing. Bed hard as a brick. Hardly anything to eat for breakfast. Not stocked at all. No milk for cereal, no forks for waffles, no cups for coffee and orange juice was watered down and nasty. Don't waste your money!!”

“This was a unique hotel, beautiful and comfortable room, lovely property, but be aware this is not your Hilton or Marriott. There are no elevators or on-site parking. You park across the street, no problem unless your baggage is heavy. I climbed to the 3rd floor with my baggage. Not terrible for me but unexpected. I probably failed to read the fine print 😁. The room was a gorgeous throw back to plush glamorous art deco style. Bedding fabulously comfortable with many pillows. I hope my photos...

“This was a great place to stay & very convenient to the music venue that we went to as well as local restaurants. We love that you can park your car and then walk everywhere.”

“Definitely a hidden gem! Clean room, good breakfast and great location! Very walkable, located right on the Riverwalk. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. I would definitely return to this property.”
