Gorgeous Scenic View!

When booking this rental, I knew that the view was beautiful. But, I had no idea it wouldn't even compare to the photos provided in the listing. It exceeded our expectations. We were traveling with my mother and father in law, our grandmother, and 3 little ones. The only down fall was the steps were hard on grandma. But once we got her upstairs, she was in her glory! All she talked about were the views, the open lay out, and how peaceful the area and house were! She slept upstairs and loved it. The beds were comfy and the house was very clean upon arrival. The kids LOVED being about to see the horses both on the property and around the track. They also enjoyed the extra amenities provided for them such as the play set on the property and the basket of toys that kept them busy our entire stay! It was nice to meet Susan and Chet and their children. They were very gracious hosts and made us feel very welcome! (Also, their dog is adorable!!) The little ones haven't stopped talking about the house and can't wait to come back and visit again. We visited many areas of Lancaster that were in very close proximity to the home. Strasburg railroad, the rockdale outlets , the mini horse farm on paradise lane, and dienners for dinner! There is wifi, and there is no TV, But when you have a view right in front of you and your family to make memories with, who needs a TV?! We would absolutely recommend staying at Chet and Susans. We hope to book again really soon!!! Thank you for hosting us!

This is very beautiful house, just as the pictures posted. The landlord was the best and lives next to property. One phone call and he is there to help out. We had no issues and I love them for checking up on us to know if everything was good.

We had an awesome time to wake up with the lake view and so see people riding around the lake was just breath taking. Will definitely book again.

Perfection!

We are a family of 8 and we were needing a place to stay to visit family and friends so we were already very familiar with New Holland. The photos in the listing are accurate but so much better in person! The home is very comfortable and we all had a wonderful time taking walks and playing games in the spacious yard. The children also enjoyed seeing horses and cows up close. The host family was also very gracious. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay!

Beautiful retreat with amazing views

This place was so beautiful and the owners were very courteous and welcoming. We enjoyed the view from the top floor. You could sometimes see riders with their horses by a small lake and the mountains and hills from afar. We loved how nestled away the house was too. It was clean and felt like we were at a home away from home. We'd love to visit again.

Súper fun and perfect getaway

We had a fenomenal time at Susan’s place. Their on point communication made it so smooth and pleasant! The house is a great getaway if you are looking for something peaceful, layback and enjoy time with family and friends. We experienced their cordiality as we engaged with them, helping us to get around and enjoy the most their property and surroundings. Super clean, organized, and comfortable. We will definitely book with them again!

Best vacation in a long time

Thank you to the Lapp family for having us on their guest rental property. We loved the scenic views, our children played with the snow. I recommend this place if you want to have a relaxing time, away from city crowd. We loved the Lapp's family hospitality, they were always willing to assist us if we need anything. Thanks to their children for the cookies and thanks to Mr. Lapp for showing his pony to our children. It was a memorable week, we will be back!

This house was great. The family who owns it was very friendly. The location and view was spectacular. The house was very well maintained and very clean. NO complaints. A special home

We had a really wonderful vacation here staying with Chet and Susan in this clean and spacious guest house on a truly beautiful piece of land! There was something Special about the wide open landscapes here; the farms nearby, and the sunsets!...it was really magical. Our two year old loved playing on the wooden swingset, and even more loved petting the friendly cows, horses, dogs and kittens on this special piece of farm land. This guest house Which is across a drive way from the main house is spacious and truly immaculately clean, I echo another review in saying it was maybe the cleanest vacation home I’ve ever stayed in. The beds I also found to be exceptionally comfortable across the board, Including the guest beds! The kitchen and open living space on the top floor had everything you needed and the view out of the landscape and valley below is not done justice by even the great photographs I took here. We hope to visit again!
