Nice Hotel, clean, friendly staff, well lighted parking lot in a safe area. Several restaraunts close by. Stayed for 7 days. Not outstanding, but good value for the money. I would return.

I’ve stayed at this hotel, the last two visits to the area and have enjoyed it. They’ve also allowed me to have an early check in to drop off my luggage. Plan to be back again soon.

Very close to everything, the staff were very friendly. We read the times wrong so we missed the breakfast but that was our fault. Would stay here again.

The quiet room was spotless and well appointed. Beds were soft and comfy. Safe parking (off street) outside the hotel and it was well lit. We could see our vehicle from our window. My adult daughter and I would DEFINITELY stay here again. We felt safe. Lots of dining and shopping options nearby.

Sounds like fraud to me...
We used one room. Hotels.com charged us for one room and the hotel charged us for a second room. We discovered this had happened when we were given two bills at check out. The hotel agent said only the manager could refund the second charge. She didn't return my calls, but did refund half the charge for the second room, this admitting their mistake. But the hotel won't refund the rest of the money they owe us. We contacted Marriot corporate for help, but all they do is try to work with the manager to resolve the issue. Apparently she's not returning their calls, either.

never were allowed to check in due to the occupants being 19. under rules and regulations for Expedia no age requirement was listed. it was only listed under the hotel website which we had no reason to look at. the worker hotel clerk was rude to my boys and my wife on the phone. very disappointed and we demand a refund now, we will take this all the way to the top of Marriott if needed

I enjoyed my stay here at Fairfield. I felt comfortable here, like I was at home. My only complaint was the air conditioning near my bed side I could not feel the air.. so multiple times of the night I was sweating. But it was All around a good stay. I will return here if I’m ever in the New Orleans area again

Nice and clean hotel. Quiet neighborhood area. Outback Steakhouse within walking distance. Complimentary breakfast could have been better/. Tables were not kept clean and they ran out of some supplies. Other than that it was good.

I thought the hotel was clean . Staff was courteous and polite. I stayed on the fourth floor. In order to turn on the shower, you had to get in the shower. But then it took 15 minutes of hugging the back of the shower wall before it would start to warm up! Who ever designed this was not thinking….. The shower door only slides from left to right. But the handle to turn on the shower is in the back. You have to step in it and move to the right. So the cold water hits you if you try to get out! Dumb!
