Perfect place for a family reunion

The place was perfect for our group. The location near, but not in, the French Quarter worked out well for being quieter, and very walkable. The bedrooms are on each side of the house, with the bathrooms and living space in the middle. Having a shared outside area with a pool, hot tub and many couches in the shade made for a comfortable experience. Wilson, the onsite property manager, was spot on. I can’t say enough good things about him.

Big Disappointment!

A group of long time friends traveled to NOLA for a Holiday celebration. We were all excited to stay together in what appeared to be a great house. Although communication was good prior to arrival and at check in, this responsiveness quickly diminished. We are an easy-going group and not prone to complaining. We were not thrilled with the seating in living room which was not appropriate for large groups (backless, small sofas and 2 small chairs). there also were 3 small mini fridges instead of 1 regular size refrigerator, which limited our storage of food and forced us to buy and transport ice to the house daily. Although the house appeared clean, we soon realized that the floors were filthy which required shoes or socks to be worn at all times. I would not normally even comment on these kinds of inconveniences, if not for larger problems. The main issue involved gross negligence for 2 full days regarding plumbing problems. There were 5 bathrooms for our group of 12. for our entire trip we never had hot water in more than 2 and for 1 full day we had 0 hot water in any of the bathrooms. 6 of us were unable to shower on 1st day and none of us could shower on the 2nd. we informed the Property Manager immediately and were assured the problem would be fixed. That did not happen. It took 2 full days to have a plumber arrive and when he did it was at 6pm. The plumber did not fix the issue and left without closing the attic or explaining next steps. My husband later found the breaker box and flipped the tripped breaker. Only then did we finally get hot water. After we began expressing great frustration and disbelief in the lack response, the Property Manager stopped responding and repeatedly ignored phone calls. A similar response was given when 2 couples were locked out for 4 hours due to problems with the access code box. This was the amount of time it took to call a locksmith. We all understand that problems will occur with rental properties. It is the response to issues that is important. The response we received was horrendous to say the least and there was zero attempt to offer any discount for not fulfilling property contract.

Awesome place for an awesome price

This place was amazing at a great price. Its was bigger than I expected and very roomy for 10 people. The beds were super comfy and more than enough bathrooms. Everyone was very hospitable and accommodated our needs. The pool was a nice perk. The neighborhood is a bit sketch at night but pretty much all of Nola is. It was safe for the most part and very close to Frenchmen and Bourbon street. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again. There is an awesome Bakery/cafe a block away which was clutch in the mornings
