  • Historic 3 bedroom 2 bathroom penthouse apartment located one block off of Canal Street in the Historic Business District of New Orleans. Living is easy on Magazine street! Enjoy endlessly tall ceilings in this 3 bedroom with 3 King Hybrid Mattresses! There are two bathrooms in the apartment. One is ensuite.
    Effortlessly walk 4 blocks to the French Quarter, 1 block to the Casino, 6 blocks to Bourbon Street and 10 blocks to the World War II Museum! Walk to the French Quarter for all the Festivals and Mardi Gras Parades!

    We get our towels from a linen company. Sometimes the towels might have blotches (i.e., bleach stains, burn marks, or tears). Our housekeeping does their best to ensure there are no hairs in the towels, but if one is found, it's likely from our housekeeping staff. We strive for this to never happen. If you're not satisfied with the linens, please let us know and we’ll gladly swap them out for you. Please make sure to book for the correct number of guests, as linens are prepared accordingly.

This place was so cute...and clean! Next time I am in New Orleans, I will stay here again. Communication with host was excellent and they are the only ones to ever call me personally after my stay to see how I enjoyed it. They were very personable. There were more than enough amenities and toiletries. I didn't even have to replenish. This stay was great!

Location, Location, Location! Place was perfectly situated just off the French Quarter. WWII museum, shopping, casino, Burbon St, and the Superdome all within 15 minute walk. The appt is as described with accurate pictures. Only draw back was that the A/C was at 78F with it set to 76F. The temperature slow increased throughout our three day stay to 80F with the thermostat still at 76F. Might just be a quick fix and to be honest from being from Texas and used to hot temperatures, I didn’t ask the host about it. I would stay there again.

We had a great time staying at this property. The location was great, providing us with easy access to the French Quarter. It was also easy to find parking, and we felt safe for the entirety of our stay.

The VRBO was clean and safe. Big open space which was nice and comfortable. Close to literally everything French Quarter! The bonus was being by the Ruby Slipper…….would stay here again!

Lovely place

This charming little place was perfect for our stay. Walking distance to Bourbon St and many other things. It was quiet even though you are almost in the middle of all the excitement. The beds were very comfortable too. Highly recommend!!

Great spot for Jazzfest stay

This apartment worked very well for our three-night visit. Centrally located, spacious, functional, and clean. All logistics worked well. Recommended!

Amazing location, easily walkable to French Quarter, Business District, Steetcar access also very close. Super clean rental, seems like it was recently redone. When we booked it said 1 bathroom which we were OK with but were pleasantly surprised to fine it had 2! (listing has since been updated). Maybe bring a over the door hook to hang bath towels as there are no towel hooks/bars but we made do. And since no closets there isn't a place to hang clothes or washed clothes that need to hang dry, but that was only a minor issue for us. Overall the place was fantastic and we would definitely look into staying there again. Also, Ruby Slipper is right next door which made for an easy and delicious breakfast spot!

Nice & Clean

Everything was exactly as pictured. The location was great! The restaurant Ruby Sleeper was right below the AirB&B which was one of the spots I wanted to check out so it couldn’t workout any better for us! Only thing I’d say is finding the actual building was a little tricky but once we found it it was easy to find the unit.

Great place, great location

Thank you Genesis, lovely place, steps from the FQ and everything else you need. Full kitchen was very convenient for when you needed something quick, especially for the kids. Good supply of towels and other amenities. Didn’t hear any traffic or noises outside, discovered how much the family snores though. Would recommend anytime and stay here again.

No estaba limpia nuestra habitación cuando llegamos (10:00 pm) nos ofrecieron otra habitación y ofrecieron no cobrarnos cargos extras por su error, al día siguiente tuvimos que volver a mover nuestras cosas a la nueva habitación y perdimos un desayuno que ya teníamos reservado

I booked this place for my sisters Surprise 50th Birthday, Celebration with high school friends! The place was spacious, clean, great location! Loved The Ruby Slipper next door, 2 blocks from Canal, Decatur for shopping, Jackson square for pictures! Chophouse is great too! Parking is the only issue,.

Eras Tour Getaway

The place is in a safe location right beside a Ruby Slipper. It has a code to get in the building and to get in the room which I liked. The host messaged multiple times checking on us. It isn’t the nicest place I’ve stayed in but was good for what we needed.

Quick NOLA Trip

What a perfect location on Magazine St. Centrally located to everything you need to see in New Orleans. It’s New Orleans, so obviously most of our time was spent out and about in the city, but this place was top notch. It’s just as advertised. The host is quick to respond and gives the most detailed directions on checking in and parking. A+++. Highly recommend.

Super stay!

Around the corner from Ruby Slipper (cafe) you can start your morning with a delicious breakfast or coffee. Located in the absolutely most perfect area that feels SUPER secure. The property is gorgeous, sleeps comfortably 2-3 (without spouses/partners) as there are two VERY comfortable beds and two nice couches. Table and chairs, fridge, kitchen, oven etc. overall a GREAT stay located two blocks from EVERYTHING!!! Do it. You’ll love it.

Perfectly Located Gem in New Orleans

Our stay was nothing short of exceptional and we were blown away by the location. This is 1-minute walking distance to a breakfast cafe on the corner, 15-minutes or less to the French Quarter, 5-minutes to the streetcars, 5-minutes to the casino, and tons of dining options. This is a perfect spot if you want everything at your fingertips and love exploring. As for the property itself, it was clean, and very roomy - bigger than the photos. For two people, it felt big - we could have fitted another 3 people and still been comfortable. We appreciated the electronic locks to both the building itself and our unit, made it feel safe. Our host was very friendly and provided perfect instructions and directions. They were incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring that our time in New Orleans was nothing short of perfect. This was our first Vrbo and a great experience!

Know that when you rent this you are downtown. But you also will probably have homeless people standing in front of the shabby little door that you go in and out of. Down the hallway that is not well lit into a creepy elevator. The room itself is an actual. Large room with the beds and everything in one room Definitely. This is bare bones. No place for my wife to get ready for showers or hang towels. Definitely needs some work. I did request help from the owner finding parking nearby. He did not respond until three days later know that the parking is $35-$50 a night. Other than that, we had a great time.

Fantastic location!

This property is in a fantastic location! Our family of 5 stayed in the space and it was the perfect size for all of us. One of the best breakfast/brunch spots is just underneath and getting to the French Quarter was a snap. I strongly recommend this spot for a family. There's also a convenient store across the street with some basic stuff (even fresh fruit!), which is helpful with kids. Genesis was also fantastic to deal with. We were in town early and they allowed us to drop our bags a bit early, even had the space ready for us early! The hosts were truly great to deal with. Some recommendations to prepare for this apartment: Bring some socks or house shoes. While the apartment in general was clean, the floors left our feet very dirty within the first few hours of being in the room. There isn't counter space for bathroom items like toothbrushes or other toiletries, something that hangs to keeps these in will help with organization.

Could be cleaner

Got out of the shower and walked barefoot across floor to the bed- maybe 15 feet- and my feet were filthy. The floor doesn’t not appear to get mopped between stays. The kitchen is poorly equipped. It had a drip coffee maker but other than that not much. No sharp knives, no can opener for pineapple juice. There was no dish cloth, just an old stinky sponge. 4 can sleep comfortably, the other two will be sleep on couches, not pull out but just on the couch and we only could find one extra sheet and blanket, luckily we only had 5 people. There’s public parking a block up on magazine that’s convenient as well as the trolley on canal. The location worked well. Based on the cleanliness and sleeping arrangements, I won’t stay here again.

One night in NOLA

This place was perfect for us. We walked to the French Quarter for some amazing Cajun food. One block from Harrahs Casino. Great breakfast place right under rental. Loved it. Will stay here next time I’m in NOLA!
