Casa moderna unica che si trova sulle rive del lago Pontchartrain che ha un portico anteriore che si affaccia sul lago e portico posteriore che si affaccia sulla Marina e Southern Yacht Club. Open space con due spazi abitativi distinti. Parte tranquilla di New Orleans con albe e tramonti incredibili e gare di barche a vela del mercoledì sera. A soli 20 minuti dall'aeroporto internazionale di New Orleans o dal quartiere francese. Accesso tramite una tromba delle scale circolare.

Great Place!

Beautiful location with great views of the lake and the marina. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The floorplan of this place is great for families with kids -- lots and lots of sleeping options, cleverly disguised as couches and murphy beds. The one downside during our stay is that one shower wasn't working properly (and we had chosen this property in part because it had two bathrooms). Having to share one bathroom between multiple adults was a bummer. The owner was very responsive and thankful for our passing along the information -- but no remedy during our short stay.

Beautiful Views Lovely Stay

Very responsive and helpful host. We had such a beautiful stay at this beautiful property. Very nice area with beautiful sunset views! Definitely would book again!

Beautiful boathouse!

Great experience! Even though the weather was rainy for several days it was still very enjoyable. Well furnished, clean and spacious. We have our boat at the marina so it was very convenient to get into the lake quickly.

Another great Boathouse stay…

We always stay at the Boathouse by the Lake. This property, its owners and support staff are excellent hosts and good humans! They take care of you. We visit with family, as a couple, and this last time with another family. Every penny spent here is worth it, from safety of location, to ease of access to the Quarter. Highly recommended and will always be our go to NOLA home away from home.

Quite place with great view.

Great boathouse!

Worked great for a family of 6 adults! We had the best time just hanging out at the boathouse while getting to enjoy the harbor and lake views. Location was very convenient to the french quarter which was also a plus. James was very communicative in case we needed anything. Thanks again for an amazing stay!!

Lakeside charm

My husband and I loved our week at the lake condo. It's a great central location and the views from the front deck are lovely: diving birds, groups of sailboats out for sailing lessons, larger sailboats and even some paragliding. The back deck was a fun snapshot of a busy marina and had very comfortable furniture. The interior was exactly as pictured and though we only used the master bed, I can see how a larger group could fit comfortably there.

Boathouse Week

We had a great week staying at this adorable boathouse. The location was extremely convenient to Southern Yacht Club where our kids were doing sailing clinic as well as shops, restaurants and grocery stores in the Lakeview neighborhood. We would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it to friends looking for a Lakefront getaway!

Wonderful Lake Front Get Away!

The boat house is spacious and comfortable. Located in a convenient area of the NOLA Lake Front with exceptional views. The front porch is absolutely perfect for morning coffee and the back porch for afternoon cocktails. Accommodations are extremely comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We will definitely stay here again for our next trip to the NOLA.
