Purposefully Misleading Listing. NOT "Luxury."
There are so many issues 1500 characters isn't enough. After driving 8 hrs. we arrived to find the property hadn't been cleaned. Sleeps 8 is misleading. There are 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, and 2 fold up foam mats (without sheets or comforters) The couch with cigarette burns in it was just sitting on the floor because the legs were removed. Central air wasn't working so there are in room units that are loud and leak water. The boxspring for the the "master" bed was broken so we had to put the mattress on the floor. The owner did say he would have someone look at it ASAP but no one showed up. The master toilet wasn't sealed to the floor and rocks when sat on. The window in the master bath wouldn't close all the way. Cabinets above the fridge were barely hanging on the wall. The fireplace was a neat idea but it was just screwed to a board on the wall. The padding was missing on the bar stools. The walls are scuffed up everywhere. The laminate doors for the bathrooms are coming apart. There are gaps and cracks in the flooring. I'm writing all of this not because I'm high maintenance but to save another family from being misled by the listing, I would say it sleeps six "comfortably" with 2 spaces with cots but bring bedding. This property will keep you dry but don't expect to be cool. If you have no expectations it's fine, but this is far from luxury and closer to a shack. We had a great time in NOLA in spite of it. VRBO was no help. Owner said I should have asked more questions.
