Orribile, sporco, una topaia che non merita neanche 20 dollari a notte. La sala colazione sembrava la mensa di una prigione. Non c’erano posate, tovaglioli, piatti per tutti. La hall sporca sporca sporca, tappezzeria macchiata, polverosa. Personale al front desk con là chewing-gum e masticare a bocca aperta. Scortesi da morire. Siamo SCAPPATE dopo una notte. Una vergogna che un marriot sia ridotto così. Vomitevole

Un albergo da dimenticare! Personale poco cortese alla reception, struttura che necessita di essere ammodernata, camere piccole e datate, moquette al limite dell'accettabile. In due diversi giorni non ci è stata rifatta la stanza (uscivamo la mattina e tornavamo la sera, quindi avrebbero tranquillamente potuto). Quando lo abbiamo fatto notare ci sono stati consegnati gli asciugamani in mano, punto! Colazione di bassissima qualità: fragole surgelate immangiabili tirate fuori dal sacchetto del freezer davanti ai nostri occhi e versate nella ciotola del buffet, un solo tipo di gusto di yogurt (vaniglia), muffin confezionati (ne arrivavano solo una decina di freschi la mattina (alla richiesta di averni altri freschi mi è stato risposto che non ce ne erano piu). Niente altro da aggiungere, per fortuna fuori c'era New York da vedere e siamo stati solo lo stretto necessario in albergo (che abbiamo pagato poco meno di 500 dollari a notte (una follia!) per 2 adulti e un bambino di 12 anni), assurdo!

Accommodation was good, housekeeping could be better for readiness of the room (asked front desk twice if cleaning was scheduled and room was ready late in the afternoon), clean towels every day, refill of products for breakfast a bit quicker, waiting time for elevators was long (maintenance of 1) and also access to rooftop wasn’t possible (construction) which was one of the main reasons to choose this hotel

The room was very clean and neat, you must have a great cleaning staff. However, the tv did not work, We called the front desk and there were no other rooms available for us to switch to so we got a " sorry mam" from a very polite gentleman, the heater/ac unit ran like a diesel engine all night long, and the water would not shut all the way off in the shower. The worst part was the problem with the elevators. We waited about 15 minutes each time we needed to use them. One of the 3 was not running at all. One appeared to have a mind of it's own and wouldn't come to the first floor if it appeared the other was already there. We had to make itinerary changes because of the amount of time it took to get up and down the elevator and we were only on the 6th floor. We are both 58 years old and took the stairs twice. I have a bad back and this is very difficult for me. The rooftop bar was closed for repair and we can understand that, but their was a letter in our room that said we were welcome to go to the roof top bar to enjoy the view anyways. We thought that was a great idea. Unfortunately, after our long wait/ trip up the elevator, the bar was locked and we were not able to do that. We don't usually write reviews because we know people work hard at their jobs most of the time. We just thought that maybe someone should know about these things because there may be some simple solutions. Thanks for listening.

We arrived at 3:15 pm for check in only to be told that our reservation was cancelled but hey could accommodate us at another hotel 15 minutes away. She explained that because we booked through Expedia, when they over book, they bump those reservations first. She said I have to understand that the other people paid more for their room. Needless to say, we cancelled the reservation and booked elsewhere.

Lamentablemente cuando llegué hacer el check-in, nunca nos dieron la habitación que había reservado, sino más bien nos enviaron a otro hotel del cual no nos atendieron sino más bien nos dijeron que regresemos al mismo hotel, en otras palabras nunca nos dieron la habitación que había reservado. Un servicio muy malo

Very convenient to everything we wanted to do, literally across the street from moynihan train station, MSG, etc. Staff was excellent, breakfast was great room was clean. We definitely will come back

Pros: Directly across the street from Penn Station, one block from MSG, and has a subway station within feet of the hotel. There was always a canister of fruit infused water greeting us when we returned from our days outing. The breakfast was more than sufficient. The front desk staff tried hard to be helpful Cons: One elevator was down, which translated to long waits at the elevator- up to 15 minutes as we were on the top floor. I found this on expedia to be an 'excellent' hotel, when we walked in the carpets to the foyer were filthy (both in stains and looked like it needed to be vaccumed badly),the room has a 'governor' on the AC which would not allow it to go below 68. Overall, I would stay here for the convienence but I would not have set my expectations as high.

The staff was friendly , the breakfast was very good and included in the price. Very clean and near a lot of restaurants. Location was amazing. I picked a room w the city view and the view was amazing. We loved it and would recommend.

Good location but everything else needs to improve. They had a damaged elevator, so we had to wait a long time for the other one, the beds are not queen size, they are full size and for a family of 4 they only gave us 3 towels. There was no complementary water in the room. The roof top was closed and they had no option to eat. The customer service was terrible because I reported that the air was broken in the room and they did not want to change me to another one.

Wir waren mit 2 fast erwachsenen Kinder 7 Tage in dem Hotel. In der 2. Nacht gabe es einen Rohrbruch mit anschließenden Wasserschaden im Zimmer. So dass wir für 1 Nacht das Hotel wechseln mussten. Das Personal ist erstklassig mit der Situation umgegangen und hat uns hervorragend betreut. Insgesamt waren die Zimmer für New Yorker Verhältnisse groß und sehr sauber. Die Lage ist top! Das Frühstück reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich und typisch amerikanisch! 1 Punktabzug musste ich vergeben für die immer wieder nervigen und lange auf sich wartenden Aufzügen. Sonst klare Empfehlung!

Hello. I am very upset about my stay at the Fairfield Marriott in New York on 33rd this past week. My young children were woken up at 1:30 a.m. due to a burst pipe, flooding of the floor in our room, firemen banging on pipes and ripping down walls, elevator beeping, fire alarm sounds and it was all around unpleasant. To make it worse, not one staff member said anything, or addressed our concerns on if we should stay or leave, if it was serious or not. I checked out the next morning and no one said anything! This was a sad situation that put a mediocre hotel stay over the top. I am a Marriott member and choose Marriott over and over again, but this was just awful. The elevator wasn't working prior to this event and the continental breakfast was overly crowded. Again, I might not be so upset if these problems were addressed. The staff didn't say anything! I do think a fee return is appropriate for that Tuesday night stay that kept us up all night.

The staff was courteous, attentive, and available when needed. All questions were answered in a respectful manner and overall I was pleased. One note, there was bacon for only one day of my stay, the other times it wasn’t available and I feel it should be a mainstay of a breakfast meal.
