“We were looking for a place to put down our heads for a night, after an wedding. Our check in should only have been in the afternoon, but we needed a place to change into our gladrags for the morning part of the occasion and Carol, very kindly got our room ready early in the morning. Such personal care and seevice has to be highly commended, would definitely recoomend this place and if ever in the area will be looking to stay here.”

“From the moment that we stepped inside, we were all really impressed by the house: it's compact, but therecwas plenty of space for 3 adults (me and 2 grown up kids). “We needed somewhere to break our journey back from Scotland and this was ideal for a family of four and not too far from the A1. We also chose it partly as it was dog friendly but a change of plan meant we didn’t actually have our dogs with us after all. But the provisions for visiting dogs were a nice touch. Also a welcome pack of milk, juice and biscuits f(for us) was well received.”

However, so sorry and disappointed to say; * we were surprised at £2.50 charge per washing machine load - we have never been charged extra for using a washing machine in a property before. You therefore need loose change, if you want to do any laundry * nowhere in the apartment to hang washed laundry / wet dog towels / wet dog coats (an airer would be useful). * no dishwasher, so we unfortunately found dirty crockery and cutlery (these are only as...
