“We had all the comforts of home, with water access. The lake was beautiful, we really enjoyed getting out on the provided water boards, and kayaks. We got to see the swans 3 mini swans parade by in the morning. ”

“The Castaway Resort was exactly what I was looking for. Quiet, clean and cozy. My views of Croton Dam Pond were fabulous and I even got to see some Baltimore Orioles. I went for a week of solitude to spend time weaving on my little workshop loom. I had the peace and quiet I needed to concentrate. The Hosts, Bob and Joy were 100% available and accommodating, and my sweet dog Poppy was completely welcomed. I would definitely return. I'm thinking maybe in the fall when kids are back in...

“Everything was exactly as described. The area is beautiful and it has what you need. The bathroom is small but they showed that in the pics. I needed a certain pan and host brought it right to me. Peaceful, nice spot”
