“The whole experience at the Retreat is superb. The friendly staff the, the deco and surroundings are lovely and it has a great relaxed feeling. It is luxurious without feeling stuffy. I went with my daughter and we had a great time relaxing around the outside pool.”

“All the staff that we came in contact with, reception, bar and restaurant were really nice and couldn't have been more helpful with a special mention for Vincent in reception who made us feel really welcome. Also the young lady who greeted us at breakfast was lovely and nothing was to much trouble but unfortunately we didn't get her name. We usually stay here two or three times a year and look forward to continuing our breaks away with you.”

“We had a wet room as en suite, and like most wet rooms, it smelt damp. The breakfast was self service and poorly stocked. We had to get an off duty member of staff to help after waiting 15 minutes on a tight schedule for someone to arrive to provide crockery and cutlery. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent. For the cost to the room for the night, I did not feel our experience was good value for money.”
