"Location was great with beautiful view from the room. Close to restaurants, shopping and pubs. Ambiance sort of shabby Victorian. No help in luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs - no lift in our wing. Never shown around the property or spa. No a/c. Heat and towel warmer off for entire hotel. WiFi ..."

"A stunning hotel in an incredible location right on the lake, with breathtaking views throughout. The rooms, facilities and overall standard of the resort were excellent, but the real standout was the staff.
