I am terribly sorry to learn that you were disturbed by the hotel fire alarm on Monday morning. Although we have fire alarms in place for the health and safety of all guests and staff within the property, the alarm was sounded due to an incident that in the end was luckily controlled. I am pleased it did not lead to a full evacuation of the hotel, however I do appreciate it was an inconvenience to you and may have caused you to have been startled. I am pleased the rest of your stay was pleasant and comfortable. I hope this will not deter you from choosing us again in the future should be staying in Jesmond or Newcastle.
