“Truly enjoyed my stay. I wanted something with a little character and not a typical hotel. Honestly booked just thinking it was an older Inn and didn't realize until later it was a bed and breakfast. I thought the room was a pretty decent price so was Pleasantly suprised I got a made to order breakfast with my room. The Proprietor is top notch when you need anything and is always happy to help. If you're ok with an older place with some character then I would highly recommend this place.”

“Clean room and helpful staff throughout our 5 night stay. Noise from the bar entrance/exit goes on until the small hours of the morning and traffic lights directly below, so recommend room is selected away from the street side as the windows offer absolutely no noise abatement. Food is good with a large selection however no evening food available, so recommend The Anglers opposite for evening meals”

“On arrival staff at desk friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was excellent as was our cocktails. Restaurant staff were very accommodating. Good quality breakfast on both days. We were happy with our room (16) although there was motorway noise they had excellent double glazing. One negative was noise from upstairs bedroom. We were kept awake until five in the morning! Someone seemed to be walking round, maybe they couldn’t sleep ( it was hot) When I reported this to reception next day the...
