Nel cuore dell'High Country della Carolina del Nord, questa cabina è la vacanza perfetta. Situato su oltre 100 acri di terreno boscoso e circondato dalla foresta godrai di un tranquillo relax ma ti troverai a 10-30 miglia dalle attrazioni della zona. Le attrazioni della zona includono 6 campi da golf nelle vicinanze, sci sulla neve nelle località sciistiche di Faggio, Zucchero o Hawksnest, mercati di antiquariato e artigianato, pesca, escursionismo, estrazione di gemme, equitazione, rodei e altro ancora. Banner Elk, Boone, Linville Falls, Blue Ridge Parkway, Penland School, Grandfather Mountain e Blowing Rock sono ciascuno non più di 30 miglia, alcuni molto più vicini. Per un pomeriggio speciale, visita la zona di Asheville / Black Mountain e Biltmore Estate. L'ampio portico avvolgente 8 'è un bel posto per rilassarsi o fare uso della griglia a gas. 'Grazie per la domanda. Il nostro vettore è AT&T e circa tre anni fa la copertura è diminuita.  Il nostro cugino ha Carolina ovest e qui funziona benissimo. Ho sentito voci che Verizon funziona ma non posso verificarlo. Esiste un telefono fisso standard con il quale è possibile ricevere chiamate o utilizzare un biglietto da visita. C'è anche la connessione wifi per Skype o FaceTime o imessage Ci sono tasche sulla strada per Spruce Pine e Newland dove verranno inviati messaggi e messaggi vocali. La linea di fondo è che può essere scomodo ma non è diverso nella nostra cabina rispetto a qualsiasi altra parte della regione. È la natura della topografia. Non è qualcosa di cui possiamo lamentarci.  Non esitare se hai altre domande. "

House was in a beautiful location. Host was prompt answering any questions. Check in was easy. Enjoyed seeing deer every day in the yard. Would prefer a sofa bed downstairs and tv. TV is in the upstairs loft. Only a rocking chair and bed in the loft with the tv. Most cabinets/dresser had something in the drawers so hard to place your things. All in all we had a lovely week exploring the area and scenic views. Just didn't feel relaxed at the house with the current furniture.

Deer were a constant.
Fireplace was nice. We brought our own wood. None on site.

The place was a nice rustic cabin. It was just myself and my wife this trip so it was great for us. The only thing I would suggest is possibly a step to help get in and out of the tub.

The property was not a private stay. The windows did not have certain or blinds in the common areas or bedroom. The grass around the property was not cut and it look like a forest. Cleaners gloves was left on the side porch. Washing machine was out of order.

A Perfect Mountain Getaway!We had the most wonderful weekend at this charming cabin in the mountains! My boyfriend, our dog Bruno, and I couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and beautiful retreat. Perfect place to clear your mind

Took a quick weekend getaway with my pup, the home is very comfortable and cozy and rustic which is just up my alley! Really enjoyed the solitude but felt quite safe if there were any surprises. Very nice hiking trails within 20-30 min drive, but there’s also a lot of nature and exploration opportunities on the property so it’s really unnecessary to leave at all if you have your food. Highly recommend!

Nice little cabin.

The house was nice and cosy. It had a futon downstairs and a bed in the loft area. The loft had a smart tv that we just plugged our firestick into to watch movies.

Perfect Size!

My daughter and I staid here while volunteering in the area. All the windows downstairs show the beautiful view while the loft allows for more privacy. All the necessities were there and a gorgeous deck it was too cold for us to enjoy much of. Host was very responsive and helpful! We will definitely be back!

Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. It was lacking some cleaning (mainly refrigerator) but we let the owner know. Also futon was broken so unable to use correctly for our granddaughters.(they had to sleep on the floor) Everything has been sent to Kate Hall. The washer and dryer were an awesome amenity. We will reserve on VRBO again but probably not this property as it is not set up for a relaxing time for adults. Nowhere to sit unless sitting on porch or going upstairs to sit on bed. The toilet in the bathroom is near impossible to use. At most, only a 24 inch opening for an adult. We knew we weren't getting all the bells and whistles for the amount we paid but we were expecting clean and accommodating.

Truly Private. Glorious.

Loved this cabin! The listing is accurate, and we really enjoyed our stay. Spent an entire day on the porch enjoying nature. Lots of bird sounds, and a few deer ran through the yard right in front of us! The stairs are steep compared to modern homes; we live in an old house, so these stairs were actually easier than we’re used to. Several reviews mention the toilet. Yes, the toilet is in a small space, but the wall is several inches (~4) from the toilet on either side, so if you fit on a standard toilet seat, you should have enough room to do your business. The bed was comfortable, as was the futon in the living area. I love that there’s an uncovered area at the end of the porch, so you can easily move to sit in the sun or shade. I’d like to come back in the cooler months. Seems like it would be so cozy! Host is great; quick to respond in the app. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place away from the noisy city life.

Private & Cute Cabin

Great cabin for quiet getaway! Very private and surrounded by nature. Quite relaxing and great for a couples retreat. Only downside was no A/C but it doesn’t get too hot there so not unmanageable. I’d consider coming back!

Wonderful cabin

We had agreat week! The cabin is small but we were there only to sleep and eat. Perfect size for what we needed/wanted. Great communication and easy check in. If you are looking for 5 star accommodations, or in the middle of town then that is where you need to stay. If you want piece and quiet, see wildlife walk through the yard then this is the spot.. This was 5 star for our trip.. We had deer, fox, raccon come through every evening. A few small things of note. The bathroom is very small, the view is lacking when there are leaves on the trees. Again, this is information for renters looking for that sort of thing. As far as our stay it was perfect for us. Looking forward to staying here again. ***Verizon does not work at the cabin but the cabin has wifi so it did not cause any issues for us not having cell service.

This was our first time at this property and overall we enjoyed the quiet remoteness. Although traffic from the local road could be heard it wasn't heavy. We enjoyed seeing the deer everday. There were some challenges; first if you have a large truck with a trailer (bike riding) the drive has no room for turning around. This was difficult as we had to back out all the way down the road and then back up the hill to the cabin. Also the furniture is short. All of it, if you are tall this could be a problem. The toilet was also small as there was bareley enough room to do business. For reference we are average size, 5'6 @ 155 lb and 6'0 @ 200lb. There are not curtains on the windows which was a little strange but we got used to that. The bed is firm. The stairs can be a little tricky to navigate if you wear bifocals. Markers on the each step would be wonderful. We did have an unforseen issue that couldn't be helped by anyone and the host responded quickly and satisfactorily.
