Siete invitati a godervi la nostra rara casa per le vacanze a due letti nella classica comunità balneare della penisola di Newport! A due isolati a piedi dalla spiaggia, questi cottage gemelli sono stati rinnovati all'interno ma mantengono il loro fascino vintage. Entrambi i cottage dispongono di aria condizionata (molto raro a Newport Beach), ma ti consigliamo di essere fuori a goderti gli spazi aperti se questi cottage. Il patio anteriore in mattoni è invitante, il cortile privato nel mezzo è un ottimo posto per iniziare la giornata, o nuotare, imbarcarsi, fare surf o prendere il sole sulla sabbia! Il layout unico offre un grande spazio per le famiglie per divertirsi insieme, ma con uno spazio separato per rilassarsi e rilassarsi dopo una giornata di divertimento.

A volte ci riferiamo al cottage posteriore come fuga del genitore (o del nonno). L'unica cosa che amiamo della proprietà è il patio centrale che si trova tra le unità e funge da patio privato per tutti!

Entra nel cottage anteriore attraverso una porta olandese alla zona giorno. Ci sono comodi posti a sedere a sinistra - un caldo divano e pouf reclinabili in pelle e una grande TV. La cucina ha elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile e un piccolo angolo cottura integrato con quattro posti a sedere. Nel cottage anteriore, la prima camera da letto in fondo al corridoio ha un letto matrimoniale e una TV a schermo piatto. La seconda camera da letto sul retro della casa ha un letto matrimoniale, una TV a schermo piatto a parete e accesso al cortile. Il bagno della sala ha una doccia.
Il cottage posteriore ha una cucina rinnovata con ripiani in granito ed elettrodomestici inossidabile. I pavimenti del cottage sono in travertino fresco. Il bagno della sala ha una doccia. Il soggiorno e la zona pranzo sono sul retro con un grande divano in pelle marrone - che alla sera si trasforma in un letto matrimoniale - e un tavolo alto con due posti a sedere. C'è una grande TV a schermo piatto a parete per intrattenere i bambini la sera.
Il cottage sul retro ha una camera da letto, al piano superiore con un letto matrimoniale. La camera da letto è semi-privata; non c'è una porta in cima alle scale. Lo spazio è aperto e luminoso, con una grande TV a schermo piatto, molte finestre, diverse luci del cielo in cima al soffitto a volta e un ventilatore a soffitto.
Entrambi i cottage dispongono di aria condizionata!
Il patio anteriore ha posti a sedere in vimini e un ombrellone per godersi il sole durante l'estate, nonché una lampada di calore per stare al caldo durante la bassa stagione.
L'incantevole cortile privato tra i due cottage ha un ponte di legno e presenta un tavolo da giardino con sei sedie e un ombrellone per l'ombra. Tutta la famiglia può gustare i pasti alla griglia sul barbecue a gas. La comoda doccia esterna è disponibile per sciacquare via la sabbia prima di entrare e la recinzione ha ganci per asciugamani, mute e costumi da bagno.

PARCHEGGIO: C'è un parcheggio nel garage, attaccato al cottage sul retro, con un'entrata nel soggiorno posteriore.

LA POSIZIONE
La gente del posto conosce il tratto di tre miglia con il porto da un lato e le ampie spiagge sabbiose della California dall'altro come "la penisola". La penisola di Balboa ha due moli con vista su un litorale, surfisti e bagnanti che si estendono per chilometri. Una passeggiata lungo Main Street ti porta allo storico Balboa Pavilion, reso famoso negli anni '30 e '40 per essere stato la dimora delle leggende dell'era della Big Band Count Basie e Benny Goodman. In questi giorni potresti individuare i luoghi visti su RHOC.

Esplora la penisola su due ruote oa piedi attraverso il sentiero / pista ciclabile. La zona del molo di Newport, ricca di negozi e ristoranti locali, dista pochi minuti in bicicletta e 10-15 minuti a piedi. Visita Seaside Donuts, Jane's's Dogdogs, Dory Deli. La colazione al Charlie Chili è un must per gente del posto e per i non residenti.
A pochi passi dalla 32nd Street c'è un negozio di alimentari Pavilions. Chihuahua e Sancho servono tacos, burritos e altro. Gina offre pizza e pasta per tutta la famiglia. Dietro l'angolo su Newport Boulevard ci sono diversi ristoranti da provare. Il Lido Marina Village, rinnovato di recente, con ristoranti e boutique di fascia alta è raggiungibile a piedi. Ma un viaggio nella penisola non sarebbe completo senza una visita alla Balboa Fun Zone, dove la ruota panoramica è rimasta ferma per anni!

Our multi generational group loved this rental. The location was special- walking distance to the beach, a grocery store, great SoCal restaurants and shopping. The layout gave us lots of room to spread out, but also allowed us to gather together. It was a perfect beach vacation and we didn’t want to check out!

This house had everything that we needed including a portable crib and high chair for my grand daughter. The kitchen was fully stocked and with the two cottages you have two refrigerators, 2 ovens and 2 coffee makers (one uses a cone filter and one a flat-bottomed filter). It's a short walk to the beach and lots of restaurants and a grocery store. The house is in a nice neighborhood and we had no issues finding street parking (we drove a Ford expedition which was too big for the garage). The garage is a standard size one car garage and I think anything except the biggest cars would fit. Inside living spaces aren't large but we spent all of our time outside on the front patio or center courtyard. The air conditioning was much appreciated and worked great to keep the cottages cool. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our week in Newport Beach at this property. We are a family of five so the setup was great with a separate space for our teens (back cottage) and the rest of us together (front cottage). Great location, short walk to Lido shops and restaurants one way, and about a 10 minute walk to the pier and Crab Cooker in the opposite direction. The beach was about a 3 minute walk and we set up each day off 35th Street and the boardwalk. The house came stocked with everything you need for a day of fun: chairs, umbrella, toys and boogie boards. Beach towels were a bit small but got the job done. The outdoor shower was a huge plus! The cottages are small on actual living space, but we took advantage of the front and back patios for coffee and meals. The interior was so clean and comfortable with lots of charm. Nice beds, dishware, and appliances. One of the nicest streets from a neighborhood stand point, the tenants next door all seemed like full time regulars. No loud parties or gatherings, which can by typical. One thing to make sure is the size of your car for the garage. We luckily rented a midsize and I don't think anything larger would have fit. Great stay and would definitely visit again!

My family booked a short notice stay at this property and it was an overall great vacation experience. The beach house was very clean and we enjoyed the short two-block proximity to the beach. The price was also very reasonable when compared to similar properties in the area which were more expensive. The host Scott was very helpful and was easily reachable when we needed help setting up the air conditioning. This house slept a family of six very comfortably although I don't think the description was completely accurate as I didn't see the second double bed as described in the listing. There were two pull-out sofa beds but at least one of them didn't work. Still, overall five stars as we were more than satisfied with the house and location.

Came into town for my brother's wedding and absolutely adored this sweet little beach cottage. It was perfect for our needs and I already miss it. It is so well appointed, clean and so cozy. And it is right next to the beach! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and need to find a reason to return.

My family and I rented this home for a week. We had a wonderful time being together and enjoying the lovely property and neighborhood. This location is really the best. On the days we spent a lot of time at the house, we loved just sitting out on the front porch, or hanging in the patio in the back grilling, chilling, and having some drinks. We did a fair amount of cooking, so it was nice that the kitchen was stocked really well too. The home is just a few minutes walk to the beach, and we loved spending parts of each day there as well. Plus, being in close walking distance to so many stores and restaurants made it that much sweeter. One thing we really had trouble with was parking- the garage was super tiny for my small SUV and I was too scared to park in it so had my husband do it. And the first day we checked in on a Saturday, the rest of my family had a really hard time finding street parking. The only other thing we disliked was that the back house bathroom is extremely tiny. Like as big as an airplane bathroom.

We enjoyed the cottage greatly. It’s charming and very clean and the location is excellent. We were able to walk to the beach and Lido Village with our kids. As as the description says, the property consists of two cottages, which required my husband to sleep in the second cottage, while the kids and I were in the front one but it worked for us. The property was very well stocked with everything and made our stay very enjoyable.

What a fantastic stay we had at this property. The location was perfect, close to the beach, close to great restaurants, grocery store, and more. Home was super clean, very comfortable beds. Having both front and back patio space was perfect. The back cottage is lovely and provides privacy while the main house is conveniently set up. Scott the owner of the property was accessible and very helpful. Neighbors were friendly, couldn’t avast for a better vacation spot hope to return sometime soon soon

This rental in Newport Beach is perfect for anyone, but was especially good for us having a 8 month old baby. The two separate houses really worked out well by giving the baby a place to sleep without having to worry about waking him up! Scott even provided us with a pack n play! The houses were stocked with everything you could need to cook. They were extremely clean and having a washer and dryer was very convenient. The location was walking distance to a grocery store, the beach, the pier, the harbor and so many restaurants. The neighborhood was quite, safe and friendly. I have no complaints and would 100% stay here again.

Wonderful property, great location, quick walk to beach and lido village. The outdoor heater was an unexpected bonus. Perfect unit for our family of 5, adult kids stayed in front unit and parents in the rear. Loved the connecting patio, and the outdoor shower was a huge hit with the kids. Will definitely return 😊

Great location. Well thought out updates. Would recommend changing furniture set up in main living area. Set up was not that inviting or comfortable. Even for two. Accent chair in living room while quaint, was absolutely horrible to sit in for more than a few minutes... that leaves just the loveseat which was sinking. During COVID people will be required to stay in more expected in the evenings. If the living room was set up better, I would return here every year or a couple of times a year.

We absolutely loved our stay! The property was clean and cozy. The best part about this home is that it has two beautifully designed small homes on one property. I love to have my friends and family visit while still having the privacy of having our own space. The distance to the beach wasn’t bad at all either. We were so happy with our stay that we are strongly considering making it our annual vacation home from now on.
