The Sand Castle - Beachfront House- Plenty of Outdoor Space- Oceanfront

Beautifully kept and upgraded luxury oceanfront dream home. This home boasts upgraded appliances, large master soaking tub, high ceilings, two car garage, private upper and lower front patios, Weber BBQ, large flat screen TVs, incredible views, beach toys, bikes, games and much more. Take five steps out the front door to get to the beach or enjoy the sun from your own private patio. There is no noisy boardwalk in front of this home so your relaxing time won't be interrupted by people passing by. Enjoy watching the surfers or the sunset from you enclosed and covered balcony.

Centrally located near restaurants, bars, grocery stores, bike, kayak, paddle board and boat rentals, two piers and the world famous beach break, The Wedge. This home embodies the Newport Beach life style and way of living.

On the first floor you have two bedrooms and one and half bath. There is a inside living room that opens up to a private patio right on the beach. The upstairs has the large master bedroom with a large hotel style bathroom. The upgraded kitchen sits next to another living room that has tall glass windows with a view of the beach and Newport Pier. The living room also opens up to a large covered balcony with a BBQ connected to a natural gas line. Two car garage with two public meter parking spots next to the residence.

This is a single family home so you get to enjoy the entire property.

Some things to know:

This home has central heat and AC.

Two car garage parking with additional space behind as long as you don't block the bike bath. A Tahoe can fit on one side and smaller car can fit on the other. A larger vehicle will fit behind the garage if you park close.

There are 4 working beach cruisers with 2 bike locks.

We start the home with a 'starter pack' of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags and laundry detergent. Beyond that, you will need to pick some up from the store.

Beach towels and bathroom towels are supplied. It is recommended that you bring any and all personal bathroom items.

You will love the simplicity, cleanliness and the views this beach home provides. The communication from reservation to leaving was professional and timely. My wife and I came to celebrate our 40th anniversary and this home was perfect. We will be back again soon!!

Host interaction was wonderful. All questions were answered quickly. Whenever I needed help he was so responsive. House is in a beautiful location. It’s nice that it’s a few blocks away from the path to town. Easy to get to the path but more quiet. Views are amazing. The house needs an update. The kitchen is nice. The downstairs has old furniture, broken blinds, old and rusty outdoor furniture. It was just a lot of little things that add up to a house that needs some TLC.

Beautiful spot. 10/10 would stay again. Check in was a bit frustrating as we never received the check in instructions, so we were outside of house for a while on the phone with Vrbo to sort it out. Eventually got the code and made it in. Everything after that was perfect. Great house. Great location. Highly recommend.

Location of property was terrific...right on beach -- and while the property was once built to high specifications with nice appliances and new bathrooms etc, the issue of maintainance was sad indeed. Many of the items in the house did not work properly, outside furniture cushions etc were literally threadbare with the stuffing exposed on every single cushion. Patio furniture on the upper level was nearly non existent with the table not of a patio variety, but literally the kind of folding table you could buy at Staples for office use. Probably the most cringy thing looking back on our trip was the fact that the dishwasher while operational required a phone call to figure out how to make it actually work. A call to the property manager elicited a response including a text showing me how the panel should look for it to work....He also indicated he should probably have printed out instructions.....this means that the dishes that were washed by the previous guest (when we arrived, all of the dishwasher detergent remained in the dishwasher --- wet but unused and not dissolved) which means we were using utensils and dishes not thoroughly washed and not by people in our family, but by perfect strangers. Garage was filled with lots of items (some junk, some not working) almost to the detriment of being able to park. A careful editing of some of these items would make for a much nicer experience. Location unbeatable, but many factors in the stay could have been vastly improved.

The house was fantastic! It’s a great location and we enjoyed being able to just walk out our door to get to the beach. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, including beach toys. We particularly enjoyed the upstairs balcony, where we ate several of our meals while viewing the beautiful scenery.

We had an amazing stay at this beach house with our family, including two teenagers. The location couldn’t be more perfect, right on the beach with incredible views from multiple windows. We loved relaxing on the patio and spending time upstairs, while the downstairs living area and bedrooms were ideal for the teens to have their own space.Check-in was a breeze, and communication with the property management company was seamless. They were super responsive to any questions we had.It was also a huge plus to have beach towels, chairs, and a couple of bikes available. We used them to ride to the store and down to the pier. A fantastic spot for a family getaway. Highly recommend!

Paradise on Earth

This home was paradise on earth. We had a perfect spot right in front of the ocean and within walking or biking to distance to many amazing local spots. The views from the house are breathtaking. The home was gorgeous. We will be back!

Fabulous home.

We absolutely loved our stay. Fabulous location. Great views. Right on the sand but away from the chaos of the pier area. Not on the boardwalk but very close. Lovely home with great amenities. Bikes, toys, chairs, beach blankets all for guest use. Host is quick to respond and very helpful. We brought our niece and her BF. Master bedroom, kitchen and main living area is upstairs. Two beds and two baths downstairs. We all loved that we could hang out upstairs together and also have our private areas to go to. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Do bring your bathroom supplies and some extra TP as there is one roll supplied per bathroom.

Great Spot!!

This property was clean and had everything you would need to be at the beach. The location was great for my family as we have 3 kids under 3 and didn’t want to be right on the strand with a bunch of people walking by. The property backs right up to the sand and is only about a 15 minute walk from the pier and lots of places to eat. The balcony was huge (especially compared to the houses around it). Will definitely stay here again in the future!!

This home has it all! Beautiful, great location and has everything you would want for a great beach vacation. It isn’t a typical rental house… if feels like you are staying at your own vacation home! Jason was easy to work with and very quick to respond. Looking forward to coming back!

My husband and I stayed four nights at The Sandcastle with our son, two daughters, and two sons-in-law, all aged 20-30. We were in town for my nephew’s wedding, and extended the trip to include a mini family reunion on the beach!

Ideal in every way

We did a fair amount of research and talked to people who have vacationed in Newport and the Sand Castle met or exceeded our requirements. First of all the location is perfect - on the beach but far enough from the hub bub of the Newport Beach Pier as to not have constant traffic both foot and auto. Next, having a two car garage was great because parking on the street may be problematic in high season. Four bikes and other toys are a great addition. New and upgraded interior and appliances along with barbecue. Most important Jason was beyond responsive. Could not ask for a better host.
