“The website is not clear about the difference between deluxe, oceanfront rooms, and ocean Bayview rooms. I ended up not getting the right room that I thought I had reserved for. They really need to make this more clear on the travel sites. Outside of that my only other complaint would be they have a apparently gone to streaming services only for TV use, but there is no instructions on how to use any of the remotes or the service services.. if you don’t use streaming services then you have...

“The room itself was nice, but that bathroom in the photos was not the bathroom I actually got, which was a bummer because that was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The balcony glass was so dirty you couldn’t see through it, but the staff was really pleasant and helpful and the salmon chowder was great. Breakfast was pre-packaged items and nothing was cooked. Overall it was a decent place to stay, but the photos were kind of deceiving and maybe didn’t match the price.”

“Rooms were comfortable, ample parking and great location - about a block from the beach. Simple take-away breakfast (bagel, waffle, yogurt). Pool was open; we didn't use it but saw lots of families walking to it. It also had a dedicated lawn area for the dogs with poo bag dispenser. What made this place stand out was the staff - extremely friendly, helpful, kind. Thanks for a great stay.”

“First time visiting Newport, OR. Clean place, friendly staff and an unbeatable view! Definitely plan to come back here soon. If you do visit, make sure to stop by and see the sea lions at the Sea Lion Docks in the bay about 10 minutes away!”

“Alex, who was the hotel reservation desk staff was excellent. He made sure we had everything we needed. Some of the inside areas could’ve been dusted a little better, but otherwise we had a good stay.”

“Everthing was nicely labled. From beach access locations, to where things were located in the rooms. The communication from host was prompt and kind. The location of this BNB was perfect. Everything was clean, and all needs were met. Will stay again. Very close to all attractions in Newport we wanted to visit. ”
