Hotel a Newport

“Camere squallide. Stesse lenzuola per 4 notti. Lenzuola bucate e variamente rammendate. Letto fatto male con lenzuolo che non copre il materasso. Materassi sfondati. Specchio in bagno ad altezza ombelico, impossibile farsi la barba. Accesso alla piscina limitato ai bambini (fino a 16 anni) in orari estremamente ridotti. Al lunedì dalle 9 alle 10.30 con orario della colazione che finisce alle 9.30: o fai colazione o accompagni tuo figlio in piscina. In settimana dalle 15.30 alle 17.00 o vai...

“Beautiful hotel and staff”

“Ho dormito una notte soltanto ma ho potuto godere di una camera spaziosa e molto confortevole, ideale per chi viaggia per lavoro”

“Beautiful accommodation. Friendly staff. Great price including a wonderful breakfast.”

“THE BEST HOTEL IN THE AREA”

“Staff cordiale e disponibile, stanza confortevole, buona posizione e ottima colazione.”

“Made very welcome and good parking the local buses stop outside which a nice bonus breakfast was excellent”

“Father and son stopover after two days of hiking during a long drive home. The Wellington Hotel was exactly what we needed — easy check‑in, no fuss, clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot showers, and a genuinely tasty breakfast that set us up for the rest of the journey. Simple, welcoming, and spot‑on. Highly recommended.”

“Possibly the worst, dirtiest, run down hotel I've stayed in the last 20 years of travelling for work. Dirty doors & walls & peeling ceilings and woodwork in corridors.Peeling ceilings, stained walls (fluid marks etc.), and stained carpets in my room. Unmade bedding on the first night. If i could have found a room in a different hotel I would have walked out. I have a few pictures to illustrate, but stopped taking them as it became so depressing. This hotel is worse than a low level hostel, and...

“Clean rooms with staff always available. Would stay again”

“Breakfast was really good and price quality for the room acceptable”

“Room was lovely and clean and plenty or space. Staff on reception very helpful and nice. Only small downside was it would be good to put in the description that the parking area is tight and it was a bit of a struggle parking a larger car”

“Excellent stay at the Briarcroft Hotel. We needed a place near the wedding venue we attended and this was right on the doorstep. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff were very attentive when needed. The continental breakfast was very nice, orange juice, cereal, toast. Parking right outside the hotel. Everything we needed was right there including local shops, bars and restaurants. We will definitely use this place again”

“Pros: - Very modern structure; - Room's large and clean; - Kind staff. Cons: - Restaurant has only junk food; - Anything you might want you need to pay extra 5 pounds. Gym? 5 pounds. Parking? 5 pounds, and so forth. The only exception is the breakfast, which is 10 pounds. If you take a cup of coffee and two cookies like me it's better go to Starbucks, stick is within the hotel.”
