Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This townhome is well appointed, beautifully decorated and has all the amenities for a family to be very comfortable for a vacation together. The location is ideal for skiers and snowboarders with nearby ski in/out access. The beds are very comfortable and the unit appears practically new with no wear and tear. All of the appliances and kitchenware are upscale, clean and the kitchen is well stocked. There is great water pressure for hot showers although the upstairs bathroom is on the small side. The basement room is massive and both the main level and basement level are perfect for apres ski. This unit is designed to hold a large number of people with many beds and room for entertaining. I am not sure why the occupancy limit is 4-6 but that probably keeps the rental is great shape. We had some questions about parking, as we could not find the required parking passes upon arrival, and we had a lack of response for hours with the VRBO messaging feature to get help. Eventually we called and were told not to worry about using parking passes even though there were signs everywhere that they were required. We also had an extra vehicle and learned that you can park in lot 5 near The Snow Cap Inn if you need overflow overnight parking. Overall, this rental is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone who needs to stay at Sunday River! We hope to definitely return again

First the negative: Initial communication should have been more timely and questions actually answered. The interactions with the property manager (multiple people) was odd- a question I asked in January wasn’t answered until March and then no help was forthcoming. Specifically, in a condo that sleeps 6, what are my options for parking a third car for one night? After many phone calls and emails, the answer was: look on parking apps (no success there), ask at the office (there isn’t one), and lastly, you can’t park a third car there. I ended up finding out that there is a lot with overnight parking at Sunday River which was very inconvenient but was at least a solution. I don’t know why the property manager didn’t know that. I have now received multiple emails and texts offering to help with an issue that I already resolved. It seems like there are a lot of uninformed people that email but can’t actually do anything and aren’t in touch with each other. ( why so many contacts at the end of the stay??) Additionally, an information sheet would be really helpful so simple things could be easily learned. Also, I was surprised that there was no washer/dryer at such a nice unit. On to the positives: this is a nice, well-equipped unit that is great for families. The ski-in, ski-out was great. It’s comfortable and very quiet. The only problem is that the management of it is weird. But still a nice unit to rent despite that. I also really appreciated the early check in.

This is as a great place for our family - lots of space, well stocked in terms of kitchen needs, linens (lots of comfy blankets!) and games to play. Convenient ski on-ski off location. Wish it had laundry but this wasn’t listed as an amenity so we weren’t expecting it. Only “critique” is could have used more communication in terms of what to do with trash, recycling, etc and earlier checkout instructions (we ended up needing to leave a day early and didn’t get check out instructions until day of). We would absolutely stay here again!

The location within the resort was great. We could ski out (ski-in was blocked), and the apartment was close enough to the South Lodge that it was faster to walk there than to take the car to the big parking lot. The apartment was very comfortable and everything worked well. The dishwasher had to be on the pots and pans setting to wash glasses properly, explaining why we found dirty glasses on the shelves. A couple of things could improve the experience: 1) A welcome packet with information about the resort and maybe some detailed information about the apartment, what to do with the recycling, etc. 2) a person to contact. We sent a question via message and received an automated reply with no information on how to get help. In the end, all went well and we really enjoyed our stay.

Great sized unit for this mountain. Clean and well stocked. There is no bathroom on the main floor which made things a little difficult for our disabled daughter but most ski families won't mind that. There is no coin laundry in the building like the other buildings so SR so you actually have to go into town if you need to wash anything.
