1. New Inns

Ashbourne

“Will not be returning, staff not helpful at all, dog friendly but couldn’t even let the dog have a sausage at breakfast as they had ran out, they had also ran out of biscuits for the room, garden peas and orange juice. Not a cheap nights stay so these things should not be running out!! Best staff were the morning we were leaving, had they had been on all weekend it would have made it a more pleasant stay”

2. The Dog and Partridge Country Inn

Ashbourne

“The welcome we received at the Dog and Partridge from David was excellent. We were quickly booked in and directed to our accommodation. A good feature was that our vehicles were able to be parked close to the room. The room was clean, well maintained and perfectly satisfactory. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was served without undue delay and was adequate and nourishing. Local Alton beer, which was available at the bar went down a treat. After a sound sleep, and shower we had...

“I booked this cottage at fairly short notice We were attending an event nearby and so booked only one night but it is beautifully situated and the cottage was very nice, so I would happily have stayed longer. 8. The Littleover Lodge Hotel

“We stayed at Littleover Lodge for 2 nights in the mezzanine room with our toddler whilst visiting family in the area. The room was huge, albeit a bit basic, with a downstairs area that was great for our toddler to play in, and the hotel provided us with a travel cot for him. Everything was clean and tidy.
