The lodge is run by the non-profit New Hope Foundation, whose work is close to my heart after one of their hospitals in Tanzania saved a close friend's life years ago. Highly recommended!”

“Room was adequate and suited us for a one night stay. Had power, kettle and lovely garden which needed some pruning. Breakfast was ok. . Only one chair. Shower was basic”

“1. The room didn’t have enough charging sockets but just one at the TV stand. Even in the bathroom three was none at the dressing mirror. 2. The waiters were so slow and I was made to wait for my meals for more than an hour even after telling me the food is ready. 3. After clearing with the hotel and checking out, I received another invoice asking to pay an extra 47 usd. I don’t know what is it for and I paid the whole amount due on this platform before even checking in.”

“We had to dismantle and unblock the shower head before having a shower and there was no hot water. But the staff were lovely and the breakfast was generous and we really enjoyed being able to have a hot drink in the evening for a very good price. It was good being near the town centre and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made up for any inconveniences.”
