The manager was so nice. Once she knew that I had VIP access, she upgraded my room so that I could have the best experience with the hotel. They also let me check out late since my drive came late. I definitely stay at this hotel again if I visit Nha Trang next time.

Could be good - but needs lots of work & new staff
The hotel itself is about 7kms away from the town, and the beach they have is about 2kms by shuttle. The hotel has some amazing facilities but it's starting to show its age. The rooms are clean, but quite dated now, with lots of dark wood. The views are amazing if you have an ocean view room. The reception staff are less than helpful. Especially considering that the hotel was not even half full. We had an issue with our room and the staff said they would move us. But moved us to a worse room, with less of a view as it was on a lower floor and looked out to another hotel. I am a gold hotels.com customer and one of the perks at this hotel was a free room upgrade, subject to availability. I explained this to the staff who said that there was no availability. When I showed them online that there was availability for EVERY type of room in the hotel, I was begrudgingly upgraded. Another perk that came with booking through expedia/hotels.com was the 1,000,000 VND towards drinks and food during our stay. Again the hotel refused to honour this, giving us a voucher to be used in a restaurant that they had closed (due to lack of hotel guests) then offered us another menu, which they had only around 20% of the dishes - with no meat options. The reception staff again were very unhelpful. I never did get the money towards food & drinks like I was promised. Breakfast had a wide selection of food, however everything was very bland with no real flavour. Stay elsewhere

The property is great, the staff not so much. We were not greeted with any enthusiasm or efficiency and this was generally the case throughout our stay. This would be a 5/5 if the staff were more pleasant. Otherwise the pool and skybar was really nice and sort of made up for the staff.

Stayed for 4 nights. Booked deluxe room, but they upgraded me to suite, not sure if it's cause of the non peak season or cause of the hubs bday and anniversary. Quick check in, and the staffs were superb. Facilities are all good, infinity pool was great with nice view.

PERFECT!!
What a nice hotel! We would definately return if we go back to Nha Trang. Pool was perfect, breakfast was exellent, service was good from every single person. We had a room with PERFECT view to the ocean/mountains. You should take the room with bathtub in the balcony!

가격대비 괜찮습니다. 오션뷰가 좋았고, 중심가에서 조금 벗어나있어서 비교적 조용합니다. 조식은 무난했지만 쥬스가 너무 밋밋했습니다. 개선이 필요할것같은 정도로 맛이 없어요.. 서비스도 나쁘지 않은편입니다. 체크인할 때 여직원이 조금 불친절했지만 나머지 직원분들은 친절한 편이었습니다. 가격대비 시설이나 위치가 좋다는 것 빼고는 특별한 장점은 없는것 같습니다. 딱히 큰 단점도 없기 때문에 큰 기대 안하면 만족스러울 호텔입니다.

Not something expected from 5-star hotel
Maybe I was unlucky this time, but some of them are way out of my expectation to 5-star hotel. Here's my experience during the stay in Vietnamese Tet (Lunar new year) holiday. 이번에는 제가 별로 운이 좋지 못했을 수도 있지만 일부는 제가 5성급 호텔에 기대했던 바와 너무도 달랐네요. 베트남의 명절인 구정, Tet 기간에 방문하고 경험한 내용을 적어봅니다. Tal vez no tenia mucho suerte, pero algos son nada que me esperaria a hotel de 5 estrellas. Aquí está mi experiencia durante la estancia en vacaciones vietnamitas Tet (año nuevo lunar). 숙소가 깨끗하고 수영장 시설도 멋있습니다. 특히 조식이 매우 훌륭하였습니다. 조식 레스토랑의 경치도 너무 멋졌구요. 하지만 스위트룸에 3인 예약을 하고 추가인원 비용까지 지불했는데, 호텔측에서 제공한 간이침대가 흔들리고 중간부분이 휘청거려 사용할 수가 없었습니다. 호텔에 요청해 다른 간이침대로 바꾸었으나 상태는 마찬가지였습니다. 어쩔 수 없이 한 명은 소파에서 잠을 잘수밖에 없었습니다ㅠㅠ 스위트룸을 예약해놓고도 말이죠. 하지만 호텔측에서는 이 문제에 대해 어떤 책임도 지지 않았습니다.

Lots of room for improvement
We stayed at the Batong Blue for three nights. The hotel's location was all things considered very poor. There was a beach, but it was not near the hotel, which based on the pictures we assumed. The distance to the beach was 0.7 km, and the hotel was also remote from the city (5 km). This meant using a taxi almost every time for transport to the city. We tried the free transports twice. One time, the beach transport was full and we had to walk the 700m. No biggie. Beach only had 15 sun lounges, which were always full. Bad service there. The other time, we tried to take the free bus to city center. The poorly organized process took a long time, and we had to fit into small taxis, that after the trip with incredibly challenging communication dropped us in the wrong place and tried to scam us into paying. Oh well. The hotel advertised as being a spa, so we tried to go. Not free for guests, cost about 20€ per person for the sauna. The pool was free but closed at 8 pm, which was odd, and way earlier than any of our other hotels. The staff, excluding the reception staff, had incredibly bad English skills, e.g. when they tried to tell me the pool was closed at 9 pm they did not manage to communicate anything beyond "pool is finished". Later I read it closed at 8. Rooms and facilities were clean. The breakfast was good, the views from the room and the breakfast, amazing, as expected from a 5-star. All in all, way overpriced and did not compare to many 4-star places we stayed at.

Second, the sauna costs 200,000VND per person and it’s also free for VIP guests. The swimming pool close at 8pm to ensure the safety and security of our guests. We do apologize for our staff’s English speaking ability and please rest assured we have addressed this with the team to ensure we improve on this. Finally, thank you for the kind words regarding the breakfast. We are continually trying to improve the variety and quality of food items that we offer. 1.조식- 무난. 적당하게 다 있어요 특별하게 맛있지는 않아요. 2. 수영장-엣지풀이 장점인데 물이 깊어서인지 1월에는 한 낮에도 추워요 3. 프라이빗비치-셔틀 시간에 얘기하면 버기로 데려다 주시는데 그냥 걸어가기도 했어요. 15분 정도 거리라 해변길 산책하면서요. 자리잡고 자기도 하고 1월이지만 한 낮의 바다는 해수욕 가능하고 좋았어요 파도 소리 힐링 3일동안 매일 갔어요 4. 방-약간 올드한 느낌의 적당적당 ^^ 5. 시내까지는 셔틀이 있어서 저는 한 번씩 정도 잘 다녔어요 셔틀 자리 없으면 택시 태워줘서 불편함은 없었어요 가격대 적당하니 담에도 묵을 듯해요.
