Our room was wonderful: clean, spacious, cool, and with incredible view of the ocean. We didn't use the windowside soaker tub (it was in clear view of the rooms in the next door hotel), but at least it had blinds that could be dropped to the floor.
We were surprised by the continually wet elevator floors.
We bought a couple beer to go at the lobby bar and wanted them charged to the room. The person there didn't know what to do - so another person came and escorted us up to the 4th floor to put them on our room. Seems there could be a smoother way to do this.
We also tried to communicate through Expedia and through the hotel site, and did not receive responses. They had initially said they would decorate our room for our anniversary, but when we got to our room, this hadn't happened. We were fine without the decorations but wished they didn't say one thing, then not do it.
Nha Trang, we discovered, is a huge destination for Russian vacationers. So much so, that most of the signs and menus are in Russian as well as Vietnamese. While the Russians we connected with were friendly as most tourists are, we felt like we would have preferred to be in a town that was more Vietnamese than Russian.
Overall we enjoyed our room, the view, and it's proximity to the ocean.
