Just down the hill, there are a number of affordable restaurants with tasty food. The owner of the B&B offers some great insights on things to do in Matagalpa and where to eat. “Had an excellent week at the resort. If you need a quiet, relaxing break this is the place to go. There are several kilometers of hiking trails. You can also do horseback riding and be guided through the coffee making process. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Hot water is dependable. Most units have amazing views.
