Really excellent apartment!
This is a very nicely modernised apartment with two good sized bedrooms (with very comfortable beds) and two bathrooms. it is very well equipped and reasonably priced. In fact, the property is better than it looks in the pictures as pictures/mirrors and new outdoor furniture on the balcony have been added.It is a short stroll into town where we bought all we needed from the Casino mini-mart. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from too, Le Mayssa was the best place to eat for us. You are next to the train station which is handy although the train do start quite early in the morning. It didn't bother us though. Excellent feedback from the owner and property manager. Overall 10/10!

Perfect Riviera location - quaint, quiet and beautiful!
We stayed three nights and enjoyed everything about this place. The beds are comfortable, the patio roomy with plenty of seating and the most magnificent view of the sea. The biggest bonus for us was the train station literally in front of us for easy travel to Monte Carlo and Nice. The train noise is minimal. The birds were louder than the trains. 😂 I even slept on the patio couch one night to listen to the ocean.

Breathtaking View and Beautiful apartment
This was the perfect weekend get-away after a busy week in Barcelona with our daughter. The apartment is perfectly appointed! The beds were big and comfortable, bathrooms were nice and clean. We spent a lot of time on the balcony overlooking the beautiful view of the sea. We arrived early and were promptly met by the property manager, we were allowed to drop our bags off while the unit was cleaned. The unit is just above the train station but the trains didn't bother us at all, and it was really convenient when we wanted to travel into Nice or Monaco. The town is so quaint and we really enjoyed the restaurants and shops. 10/10 trip!

Wow!
We were blown away at the amazing views of the sea from the family room and master bedroom. There is a spacious porch as well where you can sit and watch the water. The apartment is very spacious and clean. Very functional and comfortable. We want to go back! Loved our stay here !

Spacious Well Located Apartment with Amazing View
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment and hope to return someday. Apartment was well laid out for 2 couples or a family. Location was excellent to get to train, beach and restaurants. Villefranche is an excellent homebase to explore the neighbouring cities of the Cote d'Azur. My most memorable feature of the apartment is the Amazing view of the water and town from the spacious balcony. We loved sitting on the balcony where we spent most of our time when we weren't exploring Villefranche and the Cote d'Azur. Would highly recommend this apartment.

Wonderful View
This was our fifth time in Ville Franche and Sheldon’s place definitely had the best view out of all of our stays. We were initially concerned about the train but it was quite quiet. The location was great, close to the beach and restaurants. The only challenge was parking but we really just walked everywhere so not a big deal. The kitchen is well stocked and the clothing washer and dishwashers were very nice to have. The balcony was our favourite spot as the view is spectacular and keeps us coming back. We recommend this apartment as it is very quiet and away from the town noise. There is beautiful greenery with purple irises and a small stream right next door so at night and early morning the sounds of waves and the small stream are very relaxing. We will be back!!

This was our third stay at Villefranche Villa and we loved it as before. Presentation is perfect, the pantry is very well stocked which is a real bonus. French Riviera Magnifique!
The view was breathtaking!! Loved sitting on the terrace over looking the port in Ville France sur mer. Perfect location to get to the gorges & all the cities along the Riviera. Julie who met us was wonderful at helping us get around. The pool was beautiful but a bit cool for swimming.

Lovely apartment
This is a lovely modern apartment with fantastic view of the Sea. I could sit on the balcony forever... and the master bedroom also shares the balcony overlooking the Sea. The apartment is bright and well-designed. It is so convenient for the train or all the restaurants in the old ville, which is the heart of the charming town. There is ample dressers and closets. The only caution is that the second bath is a bit small. I highly recommend this apartment, but all of Villefranche requires able walkers.

Lovely place to stay
We really enjoyed our time at the apartment. It was very comfortable and the view is awesome. The train noise wasn't really a problem and it was great to be so close to the station. Donna was very responsive and helpful. We would love to be able to stay there again.

Donna, the property manager was great and went out of our way to meet us a little earlier than check in on the day of our arrival. She also scheduled a private ride back to the Nice airport on our last day. Very helpful and user friendly.

Great experience
Stayed here with our infant, and had a very good experience. The property manager, Donna, was awesome. She made the check in and out process very easy and made sure we had a crib and necessary adapters for our crib. Location is great with a two min walk to the beach and 5 min walk to town. Only negative is proximity to the train station, which does create some noticeable noise; however, we were largely able to drown it out with a noise machine.

Absolutely wonderful!
This property was perfect for my four week stay. The pictures and descriptions just can't do it justice. Everything about it was perfect - it was clean, comfortable, beautiful, and safe. It has all the amenities to make it feel like a real home. The kitchen is fully stocked, the appliances are top notch, there is great water pressure, there is plenty of storage space, the towels and linens are good quality, ... And of course the highlight is the outdoor space - the terrace furniture is perfect with a table and chairs plus a sitting area with sofa, chairs, and coffee table. Not to mention the view!! There were two nights while I was there when there were fireworks out on Cap Ferrat and it was incredibly beautiful to see those over the water. One thing that I loved was being so close to the beach - I could get home from class, change, and be in the sea in 10 minutes! The location was great - it is close to old town Villefranche and you can jump on the train and be in Nice in less than 15 minutes. You can get to a good size grocery store just 10 minutes after leaving the apartment. I was attending Institut de Francais while I was there and it's about a 20 minute walk from the apartment and part of it is uphill but it was a great way to start and end the day. I would definitely do it again (and hope to!!). I was there alone most of the time and I felt totally safe at the apartment. The apartment building stays locked, the apartment double locks, and the terrace is totally separate from others. The last thing I will mention is that the management team was great - they responded to messages immediately and were very easy to work with. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! I really didn't want to leave and I hope to return soon!

Spectacular.
It is perfect. Previous visitors descriptions can just be underlined! Can only adress, the view from the terass exceeds expectations! If coming back (absolutely a possibillity!) We might consider arriving off-summer in order to use the possibility of train-transportation more vivid in exploring the surroundings (hence heat). But Ville-franch is worth staying in, on the other hand! Daniel

Superb Apartment with a great view of Villefranche-Sur-Mer Bay
The Apartment is spacious, with a good standard of fixtures and fittings, high end appliances such that the Apartment easily surpassed all of my expectations. Whilst I was a little worried about the Apartment’s proximity to the Railway line, you hardly notice the extremely quite trains coming and going and the benefit of the station being immediately below the Apartment, far outweighs any undue concerns. Parking can be difficult at weekends but manageable nonetheless and free which is a bonus. Definitely a wonderful place to stay all in all and I will hopefully return sometime soon.

We had a great stay in this clean, well equipped property! Donna left us a great bottle of wine that we enjoyed out on the balcony. The view is even better than the photos. I’d recommend this property to anyone thinking of staying in villefranche. The guest room does have some items in it that are not pictured though it didn’t bother us. We also couldn’t figure out how to turn on the air conditioning but fortunately did not need it. Thanks again!

Most amazing stay
The place was like a dream you can hear the water no rental car needed and the train is right there! Check in was easy and we traveled with my wife and teenager. If you are considering French Riviera don’t stay in a nice stay right outside in the village! Perfect location only 1 hour from Italy!

Apartment was beautifully located and just as described and pictured.
We were comfortable there and had an easy walk to the old town part of Ville Franche-sur-Mer, which was the part of town that interested us. All in all we were very pleased. Could have used a little more furniture in the living room, but that could be easily remedied Very nice apartment.

Perfect place to stay!
Villefranche Vista suited us so well for our holiday. We loved the views across the bay and the convenience for the beach and town. Our young son loved watching the trains and planes from the balcony (neither of which disturbed us at all). We wouldn't usually go back to the same place twice preferring to explore different places but I can certainly see us making an exception here.

Superbe perspective
La proximité de la gare est un avantage pour explorer les villes de la région. Léger inconvénient côté bruit, mais ça ne perturbe pas les nuits de sommeil. La vue sur la rade, au fil de la journée, reste un atout majeur. L’appartement, la cuisine notamment, est bien équipée. Pour le café, il y a une machine à espresso et non pas Nespresso. Meilleures épiceries sont le Market/Carrefour sur le Boul. Carnot (autobus ligne 15 et escalier de la gare) et le Super U à Beaulieu-sur-Mer (35 minutes à pied ou retour par train, la gare de Beaulieu étant adjacente au marché). Il y a un marché public sur la place de l’octroi à Villefranche le samedi. Du bon comté 18 mois à 2,5€ les 100 gr.

LE BAIN DU 1ER JANVIER 2020
Le séjour a été très agréable. Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement par Donna qui nous as tout expliqué. Nous étions deux couples d'adultes, dont mon fils et son amie KIM qui arrivaient du Vietnam, KIM a été enchanté de son séjour sur la côte d'Azur . L'appartement est très bien situé. Il est d'une grande clarté avec ses baies vitrées. La chambre parentale avec vue sur la mer. le balcon est très grand et bien équipé. L'appartement est très bien équipé, il manque juste le "presse orange" pour faire le jus d'orange le matin. Le temps étant très clément nous avons pu en profiter. La plage et le village sont très près. Nous avons effectué une promenade de 9 km en partant de l'appartement via le sentier des contrebandiers. Le seul bémol c'est le compteur Linky qui a sauté plusieurs fois. Il n'était pas possible d'avoir plusieurs appareils électrique en même temps, Marc Grisollet

Second Time to This Oasis
This is the second time we've stayed at this property. We returned with our 10 month old son and really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place. Checking in and out was great and easy. The location cannot be beat. We popped over to Ventimiglia which was recommended in the apt info book which was very helpful. We had a great time. We highly recommend this apartment so long as you don't try and book it when I want to stay there!

The property has nice view of the VFSM bay and is very close to the beach. We enjoyed the village and the apartment. The only minor hiccup was at check in but it all worked out.

Great everything
This was my second stay in this unit, and would definitely come again, if they would have me. Awesome unit will excellent views from the main bedroom and living room. We ate and drank on the balcony for three days. Both the village and Ter/SNCF trains are very accessible. I would suggest using the Oui smart phone app for train tickets as it’s much easier and faster than buying at any station. The only downside of the unit is it has been used as a rental for some time and some of the finishes are starting to show, especially in the bathrooms. However, of the four rentals we did on our european trip, this was far and away the best. In unit laundry and fast wifi, both a plus. The unit has a well stocked kitchen, spice cabinet, tons of towels, etc - it’s really a awesome unit.

Loved It!
We're still imagining we're at this lovely apartment, beginning and ending our days on rhe balcony looking out over the bay of Villefranche. Great location near the water and just a few minutes walk into the old town. The apartment is a good size, nicely designed and beds are comfy. Booking process was good and security deposit was returned quickly. Would love to come back and stay here!

Best views ever!
We stayed a week in this apartment on the sea with views that take your breath away! The apartment had everything we needed. Donna was wonderful and arranged our pickup at the airport as well as welcoming us and giving us great information on the area. We had an issue with the wifi connection but Donna got the problem corrected straight away. Touring was super easy due to the train that runs close to the apartment. We were worried at first about noise at night but this was not an issue..very quiet. We went to Canns, Nice, Monoco, Eze, St. Paul de Vince Beaulier-sur-Mer and the Rothschild Mansion with it's beautiful gardens. The Village of Villefanche-sur-Mer was perfect. The apartment is in the Old Town with its narrow cobblestone streets and quaint shops. There are also dozens of restaurants serving delicious meals. We would definately recommend this apartment.

Magnificent in every way!
One of the best places, if not the best place I have ever stayed. Absolutely gorgeous view of the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer. Literally three minute walk to the train station that will whisk you away to all destinations along the French Riviera. Four minute walk to the beach. Eight minute walk gets you to the old town for restaurants, shops, cafes, and bars. Enjoy a beer or wine at any of the cafes along the waterfront. The four of us had moules frites one day for lunch and it was one of the best moments of our lives. Just wonderful. Villefranche is small, not particularly touristy, just kinda laid back. Perfect spot to return to after visiting Nice, Monaco/Monte Carlo, or any of the other spots along the coast. We loved Menton as well. The apartment had everything. Great kitchen, comfortable beds (actually, more than comfortable) and the patio,is to die for. Donna, who met us on our arrival couldn’t have been more helpful. She arranged a taxi from the Nice airport, and helped us get back there when the trains had a strike the day we were to leave. I can’t wait to return to this lovely, lovely place.

Amazing Villa in Villefranche Sur Mer
My family and I had the most amazing week in this lovely villa. We enjoyed gorgeous views of the sea, walking around the beautiful village and going to the beach which was close by. We were minutes from the train so we able to get to Monaco, Nice and Eze in just a few minutes. The villa was clean with modern bathrooms and kitchen.

Mesmerizing View, Fantastic flat
Would have given it Five Stars except the VRBO ad stated there was a tumbler clothes dryer and there wasn’t one. Everything else was fantastic. Spacious layout. Well equipped and everything worked. Bed very comfortable. View can’t be beat. Proximity to train station a big plus. Donna was an excellent property manager. Would stay there again!

Hi Mark. Thanks for your review. I have checked the listing - it showed there was a tumble dryer with comment "there is a drying rack for clothes". I have now removed the checkbox for the tumble dryer. Sorry for the confusion and we hope to welcome you back next year...

The only negative (huge) is the lack of parking - definitely would not be prepared to look for parking again, on a daily basis, up to a kilometer away. Really surprised that the residence of area have not complained about the state of the station. Coul not complain about the actual apartment.

Hello Violet. I'm pleased you could not complain about the apartment. Parking can indeed be frustrating during high season - we try to encourage our guests not to rely on a car during their stay. Although I would say the apartment probably has some of the most freely-available street parking in Villefranche. Those staying in the centre of the village have no nearby parking at all. My wife agrees that the station could do with a lick of paint, however unfortunately that is something out of my control (the station, not my wife).

The PERFECT Getaway
Villefranche-sur-Mer was the last stop on our European vacation, and after being at this apartment for less than 5 minutes, we wished it had been the only stop on our European vacation! The owner and the property manager were both very friendly and responsive, and the property itself was perfect for our family. It is literally in walking distance of the town and even closer to the train station. I've already recommended the property to two friends looking to visit France. As soon as we save up enough to be able to visit France again, I have no doubt we will be renting this property again.
