“It is true this is off the beaten track and very quiet except the dogs barking at 3am. Unfortunately when we arrived the bed was crawling with ants. there were 2 holes in the wall that the ants were crawling out of. The property manager's solution was to use a can of raid and duck tape the holes. We had booked for 5 nights but left after 1 night. We found much more comfortable accommodations in Tamarindo. “Awesome location - literally steps from the water, you can see the tide come in from the balcony and hear the ocean from your room (& smell the sea air too). Well equipped little cabin room with functional kitchen and fridge. Had some power and water outages the first couple days, and the room gets a bit hot in the afternoons - sort of like a camping/cabin experience but right on the water with some jungle behind you. “This host did not communicate anything!! There was no message at any time after reserving this rental to touch bases. No information about where the property is or how to access the property. They also did not respond to VRBO representatives. My family and I were left trying to find a suitable place to stay at the absolute last minute (after check in time) and it was during the holiday season so EVERYTHING was booked. We ended up staying in an undesirable tiny room. ”
