“Kitchen was old, not well equipped, lighting poor, ants everywhere especially at night. There were no shops near by, you needed a car to get to them. The gordwalk was treacherous , old and dangerous for walking, wooden boards cracked, missing and installed far aoard. Beds were nice and clean but floors were old and looking not very clean. stoned wall in the bathrooms was rough, dirty and full of insects. Shower heads were poor. ”

“The owner / property manager never took the initiative to reply back to my check in message which resulted in me being stranded after 22 hour flight. I book afcomodation on regular basis, but this is hands down the worst experience I have ever had. AVOID ”

“Ben was an amazing host. Playa Avellanas is very rural, and Ben guided us in right to his gate, no problem. Ben is super attentive, and was checking in with us frequently. He saved us a lot of money with his spot on recommendations regarding excursions and restaurants. The boardwalk to the beach, and the beach are amazing. Restaurants in the area - off the charts!”
