Peacefully located romantic apartment Sierraymar

The quiet apartment SIERRAMAR is located in the old village center of the pretty market town of Níjar in the area of Almería, at the foot of the Sierra Alhamilla and near the unspoilt beaches of the Natural Park 'Cabo de Gata-Níjar'.

THE APARTMENT:
The tastefully and carefully renovated apartment is part of a traditional courtyard house with several hundred years of building fabric. The facility is lovingly compiled. The thick walls protect against the Andalusian heat even in hot summer days. The apartment is centrally located and yet very quiet. From the sun terrace in front of the kitchen you can reach the spiral staircase and a large roof terrace with a view of the whole valley with its gentle, hilly landscape; on the horizon, the sea is to be discovered.
The bedroom has a queen-size bed.
The adjoining living room has an additional single bed. A small, diverse holiday library is available (English, German, Spanish).
The kitchen is simple and practical - equipped with a washing machine and a large fridge. The bathroom has a small tub with shower.

The village with its 2,800 inhabitants is located in the interior, in the midst of a wonderfully varied landscape. Blooming pomegranate trees, orange and olive groves and the scent of flowering jasmine put you in an almost oriental sensory world.

Nijar is a traditional Andalusian village with its many shops. Be seduced by the offer of the bakeries and confectioners, drink an aperitif under the palms of the main avenue, taste the delicious tapas of the small restaurants, stroll past the displays of the pottery and wickerwork, take part in the lively social life at the church square and at the weekly village market or explore the winding side streets at the foot of the hill!

Beaches:
Various very beautiful, z. T. lonely beaches, mostly flat with very fine sand are located in about 20-minute distance. Often with extensive infrastructure (restaurants, showers toilets; Agua Amarga or San José) or lonely in the dunes (near San José: Playas Monsul, Genoveses, Playazo).
Bathing season is from April to October.

Nature and landscape :
The area is known for its unique natural landscapes: In the immediate vicinity of the volcanic landscape of Nijar, the Natural Park Cabo de Gata-Nijar (diverse fauna, including. Flamingos, wild agaves), the Alpujarras (almond and apricot groves, vines, pomegranates), the Sierra Nevada (snow-capped ridges with conifers) desert landscape of Tabernas or the rock dwellings of Guadix.

I passed 4 nights in this cozy apartment ( vivienda rural) in Nijar. Check - in was quick and efficient thanks to the presence of Pedro. Apartment is perfect for 2 people, has a very nice terrace and is in the centre of Nijar.

Hemos estado 12 días en esta vivienda de Níjar; situada en un tranquilo callejón del casco antiguo, en una mítica plaza. Terrazas en varios niveles; para usar con comodidad la del primer nivel (mesa con sillas para desayunar tranquilamente, hamacas y sombrilla); las otras dos, estupendas por las vistas y si estuvieran acondicionadas, se disfrutarían plenamente. Cocina práctica (echamos de menos un hervidor de agua, ya que no hay microondas, tampoco horno) Baño con ducha cómoda. En el saloncito, nos faltó el sofá, aunque hay un par de sillas-butacas y una cama con cojines pero no resultan cómodas para un rato de lectura. La cama de la habitación es grande pero para nuestro gusto, fallan las almohadas y sería bueno renovar la ropa de cama. La comunicación con Lia, por whatsapp, muy fluida; atenta a nuestras consultas; nos proporcionó mucha información y tanto el auto-check in como el auto-check out, muy sencillos y rápidos (nos consultó previamente si podía ser así y nos pareció bien). Es fácil encontrar aparcamiento en el parking público situado a unos 400metros. Buena relación calidad-precio. En conjunto, ha resultado ser un piso agradable, bien ubicado en Níjar, para utilizar como punto de partida para conocer el Cabo de Gata. Recomendable y para repetir, ya que lo mencionado anteriormente son solo pequeñas mejoras que no restan valor a la vivienda.

Genial apartamento en el centro de Níjar; auténtica casa de pueblo, con una terraza espectacular, con unas vistas sobre Níjar y Cabo de Gata geniales! el apartamento está perfecto para unos tres personas y Lia está disponible en todo momento.

L’appartement a tous les équipements nécessaires, toutefois il manque un four. Son défaut majeur est qu’il y fait très chaud et qu’il n’y a pas moyen de l’aérer correctement. Dommage, ça gâche un peu le séjour … D’autre part, nous n’avons pas vu la propriétaire, nos seuls échanges ont été par whatsapp, pas super. Le site indiquait une distance de 15 à20 minutes de la mer et, en réalité, il faut compter une demi-heure !

It was a very nice experience to spend some days in lia house in Nijar. The small propriety is super nice and quite calm and relaxing whit three marvelous private trlerraces in which you can see all the stars at night and get healthy sun on teh morning. Lia was super nice host and always available for any tips and requests. Thanks!!

Un lugar en el que desconectar y disfrutar. Lia tiene mucho gusto y la casa es una preciosidad. Hemos disfrutado una barbaridad y nos hemos sentido como en casa. Tiene dos terrazas con unas vistas espectaculares. Hemos estado muy bien. GRACIAS Lia por ponerle amor al hogar y compartirlo.

Très bel appartement typique, en centre ville, sur une très jolie place. L’appartement est propre et la décoration est superbe, tout comme la vue des terrasses (que c’est soit pour les montagnes ou pour admirer les étoiles). Après une journée chargée, il était plaisant de rentrer dans ce petit cocon au calme ! Les produits de base sont sur place : ménager, fer à repasser, sèche cheveux, épices, etc... La propriétaire est très gentille, disponible et attentive pour qu’on passe le meilleur séjour possible ! Merci pour tout.

Los todo fue maravilloso. Si es importante el tema de la escalera al salir de la cocina a la terraza. Es muy peligrosa. Te sugiero que pongas una protección para evitar disgustos. Que vaya muy bien!!

Es una casa con encanto, que te hace sentir como si estuvieras en tu casa. Situada en la parte alta de Nijar, cerca de las playas del parque natural de Cabo de Gata. Pueblo tranquilo y hogareño. Bien cuidada y equipada. Cocina y baño nuevos. Con dos terrazas perfecta para cenar viendo el atardecer. Muy recomendable. Sin duda alguna volvería otra vez.

Nijar est un village charmant.Bien situe il permet de silloner la region sans faire trop de kilometres. L'appartement est tres sympa avec ses 2 belles terrasses.On comprend bien a y resider l'architecture de ces beaux villages blancs aux maisons toutes enchevetrees .Nous y etions en hiver et avons pu utiliser un poele a bois qui suffit a chauffer tout le logement.Un radiateur a gaz est egalement a disposition si besoin. Les contacts avec la propritaire qui est vraiment une personne tres reactive , sont excellents. A l'arrivee, l'accueil par Peter est facile et chaleureux .Il y a meme une bouteille de bienvenue... Bref ,un excellent sejour qui nous a semble bien court.

Het appartement is heel sfeervol met hoge balkenplafonds. Mooi, modern en zeer compleet keukentje. In december wel koud maar de gaskachel (of open haard) maakt het snel behaaglijk. De terrassen buiten zijn geweldig. Als je muziek wilt, je eigen bluetooth speaker(s) meenemen. Draagbaar radiootje stelt weinig voor, de CD's blijven haperen. Er is geen wifi .

schöne Wohnung in einem mittleren Dorf. Das nahe Naturschutzgebiet Capo de Gato ist sehenswert. Man muss allerdings wissen, dass zwischen Wohnung und Naturschutzgebiet ein großes sehr unschönes Gebiet mit Planen-Gewächshäusern steht - wie überall in der Umgebung von Almeria. Das wussten wir leider nicht. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Im Sommer könnte das Fehlen einer AC ein Problem sein trotz der dicken Wände, mit deren Hilfe das Schließen der Fenster und Rollläden dazu führt, dass die Temperatur angenehm ble4ibt.

Quiet and charming old spanish apartment with three terrasses looking out over the roofs, the hills and far away the greenhouses. Beautifully restored, pretty decorated. Perfect place to visit the beaches of los Muertos, las Negras.

Peter, el encargado de abrirte la casa, muy agradable. Sólo he echado en falta una pantalla donde poder conectar el portátil para ver una película. Hemos estado en invierno y la estufa es muy grande y funciona muy bien y dejan a tu disposición mucha leña además hay una estufa de butano catalitica que es el complemento para que la casa este calentita y confortable.

We loved coming back to the flat after spending busy days out and about exploring the region as it was so quiet and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed watching the sunrise from the kitchen terrace and listening to the neighbourhoood cockerels competing from the various little fincas dotted around the hillside. The accommodation is thoughtfully decorated and well appointed. We didn't miss not having TV or internet at all. If you really want to 'get connected', you can use the free wifi from the tourist info office in the plaza. You have to sit out on the one of the benches as the signal doesn't quite reach the flat. The water from the fuente is good too if you don't like the slightly chemical taste of the tap water. Acess to the beaches from Nijar is really easy and we fell in love with the more isolated calas along the headland from Genoveses beach. Campohermoso, while not exactly living up to its name was an eye-opener as it shows another facet of Almeria. Definitely worth the effort is the walk up the valley to Huebro. We chatted to a elderly resident (quite a character) and had a drink at the only bar in the village. We wished we had another week as there is so much to see and do in the area. There's little doubt that we will be coming back! Muchas gracias.

Mi pareja y yo hemos estado una semana en la casa, y nos hemos enamorado, nos hubiera gustado quedarnos más. Muy acogedora y con buenas vistas. Situada en el centro de Níjar, pero muy tranquilo. En coche te queda cerca de muchos lugares para visitar. Muy contentos de el trato con Lia y Peter, él nos recomendó muchas rutas y lugares para visitar. Esperamos volver otro año, sin duda volveríamos a esta casa.

Es una casa preciosa, con mucho encanto, muy bien decorada, tranquila situada en la parte alta de Nijar. Alejada de ruidos, donde se puede descansar y contemplar unas fantásticas vistas desde las terrazas que tiene, en especial los atardeceres. Si lo que se quiere es desconectar es perfecta, no tener tv y wifi ayuda mucho y no se echa de menos. Cerca de las playas La casa está muy bien cuidada y equipada. Cocina nueva y con todo. Tanto Lia como Peter están a disposición de lo que se precisa. Muy muy recomendable.
