“Property host was quick to communicate during booking and check in process. Property manager/cleaner is right next door for any issues and to give local recommendations. Area is quiet and the layout of the house made sure all relatives had a comfortable place to sleep. Take the canoe or kayaks onto the water and explore the lake. There is a town market on Saturdays which was a bonus as well as some quick bites to eat just a few minutes away. ”

“Property met all our needs. Beach was great for our grandson. Beautiful lake perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking. Close to playground, groceries, restaurants and trails. The house was beautiful with all we needed to cook and enjoy our stay.”

“We enjoyed our stay and were pleased with the house and its amenities. Communication with Kim was superb. She is an excellent host and wish her the best. Some thought the beds were too soft and that might be because they slept in too long. Another mentioned it would be great if there was an option other than bench seats around the kitchen table. Thankfully the listing describe the seating around the table and we planned ahead and brought our foldable chairs.All in all we were pleased. Derek ”

“We had a lovely time at this cottage. It was clean, comfortable, large and well stocked. The water was nice for swimming, the kitchen was great, and the general space had lots of places for people to hang out and relax. It was lovely and quiet, and not too close to the neighbours. The host was extremely responsive to all our questions, and very pleasant to deal with. Overall, I highly recommend this cottage! ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this clean, well appionted, family friendly property. We did not have the best weather (cloudy and cool) but made the best of the amazing out door space. The firepit was a great spot for star gazing and we had plenty of space (and equipment) for our anual family "cottage olympics"! Our host was readily availble for any questions we had..”

“Overall it was a beautiful property and very clean. A large cottage to accommodate our 10 person family. It was a little unfortunate that the air hockey table wasn’t working, but Dave tried his best to try and help us fix it and communicated with us the whole time about it. Most of the beds were quite comfortable with the exception of 2 of them that sunk in the middle, however that’s sort of expected at a rental. “Fireside Haven was a wonderful place; just like the pictures. Every detail and convenience is included; coffee, cold drinks, snack and fun stuff to use at the beautiful fire pit area. The entire experience was beyond our expectations. Catherine and Rayal are kind, thoughtful and fun hosts. We were met by Rayal on our arrival. The kitchen, bathroom, bedroom had everything, lots of lights, a/c and warming fireplace inside. We loved the private deck and lounging area. Can’t wait to come back to...

“We couldn’t have asked for a nicer week away from it all! It’s a beautiful, well-taken care of house ready for guests on a gorgeous lakeside lot. We enjoyed the lake – made some attempts at fishing from the dock, did lots of swimming, paddling/kayaking, and equal portions of just taking it easy most days, but we also ventured to North Bay for the mid-day boat cruise and some exploring which was fun. “Alida's facility was great! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The decor was well done and very cute. The wifi worked well. Parking on the property was very convenient. With its proximity to Mikisew it worked well for our getaway. ”

“We had a peaceful great time, everything was well kept and beautiful area. You do have to share the canoes/water crafts with the Neighbor’s. But they were nice”

“Great spot for a cottage week”

“Property is very large and mostly private with only one close neighbour. Close proximity to boat launch and ability to tie up at the dock on the property. River connects directly to Lake Nippissing with a 30 minute boat ride. Everything we needed was at the property. General store is very bare bones so be sure to stop for groceries before arriving. Overall a great stay, will definitely return!”
