We welcome you to enjoy this lakefront cottage located on Damariscotta Lake. A year round home setting with full amenities. Bring your boat! Come enjoy summers swimming in the lake, fishing, boating and watching sunsets right from the deck! Or cozy up this fall in front of the gas fire place and enjoy Maine’s spectacular fall foliage. Looking for winter fun? Pending weather: ice skating, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and Ice fishing. Year round fun at this cozy cottage!

Was only a one night stay, very easy to find, set up to cook dinner. All utensils needed were easy to fine, pots and pans, dishes and grill.Beds are comfortable and sitting areas were as well.

This home was wonderful. Very comfortable and homey. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook whatever you wanted. I wish our stay could have been longer so we could spend more time sitting on deck and enjoying the views. Will definitely plan on staying again. Check in was so easy.

The property was as advertised. Though we only stayed one night, we enjoyed the peaceful evening and morning, and enjoyed taking the kayak/paddle board out on the lake.House was very clean and the owner was very responsive to our questions both before booking and during our stay.

My family and I stayed here visiting relatives in Jefferson. Absolutely gorgeous location in the woods, and a wonderfully designed home & interior that my mom couldn’t stop commenting on. We would love to come back another time for a longer visit.

Love the place and hope to stay again. Short walk down to the lake where it’s easy to swim out to a floating dock. Love the lake. Various beach chairs, as well as kayak, SUP in the basement. Appreciated the mosquito repellent that was provided! Had everything we needed for our short stay.

Amazing gem tucked away

We loved our stay at the Otter Getaway. Enough room for all five of us to spread out and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. Kitchen was amazing and the tv/dining room was a cool, added bonus. Will definitely be booking again!

The most beautiful spot! And the house was absolutely adorable it was the perfect fit for us and friends we had over for a cook out. The sunset in the evening was just the perfect end of the day.
