Steps to the Beach, Sandbar Suite

Summary:
The Sandbar Suite is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, condo (sleeps 4) in a beautifully restored building in Ocean View. Located right on the beach and close to wonderful restaurants. Every detail has been taken care of to make this a comfortable and unique AirBnb stay.

Also available for monthly rental. Please submit inquiry for monthly availability.
-All utilities included in monthly rent

**Strict no party or event policy (anything over max occupancy of 4 people is considered a party/event). See house rules below for more information**

The Space:
Bedroom 1: First bedroom has a queen size bed
Bedroom 2: Second Bedroom has a queen size bed

*There is no ramp or elevator in this house.

There are a total of one full bathroom that is fully equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and soap.

The living room has ample space for relaxation and has a 55" Smart TV with high-speed wifi.

The full kitchen is equipped for all of your cooking needs and has a range with oven/stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all cooking utensils and dining ware needed.

*This unit does not face the water - there is a common back yard space that can be accessed by all the guests with access to the beach.

Guest Access:
Access is by private door with door code.

Guests will have the entire house to themselves.

The Neighborhood:
This property is central to all local Ocean View restaurants.

Getting Around:
Parking - Guests are given one parking spot (#4) in the parking lot in front of the building.

Other Things to Note:
House rules:
• Absolutely no smoking in or near the building. Any smoking must be outdoors and at least 25 ft from the property. Guests will be fined if smoking policy is violated.
• No parties or events (gatherings over max occupancy will be shut down immediately unless previously approved by host)
• Check-in is anytime after 4PM

Check-out Instructions
- Check-out is 11am
- Clean the dishes & return them.
- Turn TV off
- Leave AC on in summer and heat on in winter
- Lock door behind you

Interaction with Guests:
Guests will have total privacy; we are available only when needed.

Overview of my beach vacation in. Irfk area
Property seemed basic with few amenities. Compared to other vacation rentals this was very unsatisfactory. The outdoor area/ laundry area was neglected. Beforeuse and clean lint filter. I had to wipe down washing machine e Seems like mgmt was cost cutting and had crappy cooking items, electric stove with no working oven. Unit was nicely cleaned but lacked paper towels and tissues and I had to wash towels and wash clothes twice. The beach chairs were a nice addition. Ocean View Beach is not a beach I would return to visit but rather Buckroe beach was worth the travel. Future plans would include me booking a single family rental in the Hampton area.

Beautiful Beach, Okay Stay.
The property was decently clean. When we got there to check in at 4 pm, the cleaning crew was still there and parked in our designated spot. We had to wait around 15 minutes for them to leave. It is great though, that they clean it after every stay! I found a pile of dirty towels hidden in the closet when we finally did get to enter the room. There are just a few improvements that could make this place a much more enjoyable stay. The shower head is awful. It sprays everywhere and even with the hot water cranked all the way up, it’s still cold. It’s also LOUD when someone is staying above you. So loud that I thought there was someone in our unit. The blinds in the bedrooms also do nothing to block out any light. There’s a bright street lamp that is right outside, and it shines in your eyes all night. Our kids were up every morning at 5:45 am because the sun was beaming into their rooms. Maybe some curtains in the bedrooms would help. Lastly, there is nowhere to rinse off when you get back in from the beach, so sand gets tracked in everywhere. We enjoyed our stay for the price. The apartment does look like the photos, and has some nice spaces. The beach was beautiful and really private. We practically had the entire beach to ourselves! It’s also a very short walk to the beach, which is always great! Overall we enjoyed our stay. Sleeping and showering were not so great though. 😅

Cute space. Definitely for 4 people or less. The back yard is the beach which we loved. Wish we had nicer weather to enjoy it more. The only down fall there was only one parking spot available. We had two cars so we had to park the car 4 min drive away which was the closest public parking. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Great location
Perfect access to beach right out backyard and dogs are welcome. Bring your own poop bags. None are provided on property. Sparsely equipped so bring extra blankets, towels, and cleaning supplies such as cleaning spray if you have a drink spill etc. or want to keep things tidy during your stay. There is only dish soap such as Dawn in the kitchen and one roll of paper towels. No dishwasher, but there is a shared laundry facility. There are quite a few beach chairs to use even though we did not use them. Shampoo, conditioner and bar soap are provided along with liquid hand soap in the bathroom. Two rolls of toilet paper. If you want to hang out at the beach, this is a perfect place to stay.

Awesome experience!
Everything was wonderful!! We loved our suite, and it had everything we needed. The beach access was amazing, and it was so private and quiet. Our only suggestion would be an area to rinse off sand from your feet. We would absolutely recommend this and stay here again!

Relaxing beach stay
Nice property. Very convenient to visit area attractions. If I come to stay again I will only stay on ocean front. The street noise is pretty loud.
