“Dislike: small shower Likes: Everything else, especially the sea view. Definitely stay here again.”

“The location was great for our purposes and the parking was good. Breakfasts were excellent, there was a nice patio and garden out the back. Well-run family B&B. The principal negatives were the noise (our suite overlooked the main road) and the very spasmodic Wi-Fi. At this price point it was disappointing.”

“Staff were lovely, room was small, especially the bathroom but nice, nice and quiet, great location 5 mins walk to the beach. The only bad thing was my other half had breakfast and said not nice was overcooked. And limited parking but right outside so that’s a bonus ”

“When we walked in the room at 9.45pm the room was freezing cold, we found the radiators and turned the heating on but at 11pm the heating went off and didn’t come on again until the morning which meant we was cold all night. Plus there was a clear draft coming through the main front door and from the bathroom. When we looked around the room there was black mould by the front door and around the bath. “Close to the beach, nice place for family”

“Villa di campagna inglese molto bella con giardino. La nostra camera era di quelle piccole ma spaziosa a sufficienza con letti singoli comodi. Bagno pulito e dotato dei comfort necessari anche se non molto spazioso. Colazione eccellente, ricca di prodotti freschi cucinati sul momento. Parcheggio in loco di fronte alla struttura. Malgrado la posizione isolata, si puo' raggiungere Exeter in 15 minuti su strade comode da percorrere.”

“Absolutely loved our weekend at the Dower House! Amazing location surrounded by nature, the building is so beautiful and our room was huge and had every comfort. All the things you don't find in chain hotels are here - four poster bed, comfy sofa, coffee table and chairs sat amongst a wonderful backdrop, dark and quiet at night for a great sleep. And not to forget the amazing and genuine owners, Tim and Rosemarie, and Teresa who served a great breakfast ”
