This cozy Swedish stuga offers comfortable accommodations for up to 4 people and is ideal for a small family, a group of friends, or as additional accommodations next to the main villa.

The stuga has two sleeping areas:
- a spacious combined living room/bedroom with a comfortable sitting area, TV, and a sleeping area with two single beds;
- a separate bedroom with a bunk bed.

The simple but well-equipped kitchen/kitchenette features a microwave, two stovetop burners, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a dishwasher. Everything needed to prepare simple meals is provided.

The bathroom has a shower and toilet. The stuga also has a spacious entryway with plenty of room for coats and shoes.

Outside, guests can enjoy the large, green 3,000 m² garden, which offers plenty of privacy and a private barbecue area. The cottage is a pleasant and self-contained accommodation for a relaxing stay in the heart of the Swedish countryside.

𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗷𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲
The key to the accommodations are located in a key safe next to the front door. Before your arrival, you will receive a personal code for the key safe, which is valid from the day of arrival through the day of departure. Upon departure, we ask that you lock up the accommodation and return the key to the key box.

Before arrival, you will also receive the Wi-Fi details (guest network name and password). Broadband Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire accommodation. The living room has a smart TV connected to Wi-Fi, which you can use to stream content from your own device.

𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼 𝗔̊𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱
The property is located in Norrfors, in the municipality of Nordmaling, on the Gulf of Bothnia. The beach is about a 30-minute drive away. The Lögdeälven River flows through Norrfors and is very popular for recreational and sport fishing. The peak season for salmon fishing runs from late May through June and into early July. During this period, the area attracts many anglers.

Close to the accommodations are Svartforsen, a beautiful stretch of river that flows into a wider section of the river with a small sandy beach. Here you’ll find a public sauna, a barbecue area, and several picnic tables, surrounded by woods and nature.

From time to time, the air is filled with the scent of freshly baked bread from the local bakery. They supply bread and pastries to supermarkets and campgrounds in the region, but visitors are also welcome to buy fresh pastries directly from them.

The small village is nestled in the heart of nature. In the winter, there are several snowmobile trails leading to nearby towns and toward Nordmaling, Bjurholm, and Trehörningsjö. In the summer, there are beautiful hiking trails for both short and longer walks, as well as numerous lakes where you can swim and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. An unspoiled and idyllic corner of Sweden.

𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗼𝗲𝗿
There is ample parking on the property, with space for 3–4 cars and a carport for one car.

Norrfors is easily accessible by car via Highway AC 508 from Nordmaling or Umeå. Public transportation is also available: bus lines 109 and 111 run from Resecentrum Nordmaling to Norrfors.

Umeå Airport is just over an hour’s drive away (via the E4 to Nordmaling and then via AC 508 to Norrfors).

Several larger towns are located nearby. Bjurholm is a little over a half-hour drive away and has two supermarkets, a pizzeria, a restaurant, a newsstand, and a golf course. The nearest supermarket is in Trehörningsjö, about a 20-minute drive away, and the coastal town of Nordmaling is about a 25-minute drive away.

Although we live in the Netherlands, Sweden in general —and the Vännäs/Bjurholm/Nordmaling region in particular—has remained close to our hearts. Not only because we reconnect with family and friends on every visit, but also because of the beautiful surroundings, which have so much to offer and enjoy in both summer and winter.
