“We have been staying in SoHa for over 20 years and Hotel Nichols was our first place and now again a recent stay. We went back for the charm and central location. The newer owners have improved the property with new furnishings and the outdoor courtyard. They also provide an extensive made-to-order breakfast every morning. The innkeeper and staff were welcoming and service oriented. A great experience!!”

“Stay was very nice. Meal was delicious. People very attentive. For the price I would have liked better toiletries and toilet paper. Will pay the extra to stay in a nicer room next time. ”

“Loved the cozy feeling and ambiance of the B&B. Location was great , as we could walk to the beach. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit every morning.”

“There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. ”

“Climate control in the room was busted. Elevator was broken. No milk at breakfast(!!) walls are paper thin. Not the best Hilton. Actually, the worst one I’ve stayed at.”

“Room was dirty, Place was torn apart, Noisy, and we had rashes all over the body as soon as we slept on the bed and has vacated in less than a n hour after checking in.”

“Tracey and Mark are absolutely amazing. So kind and thoughtful, they make you feel like you’re part of their family. House is clean, they are very helpful and accommodating, and breakfast is fantastic. I hope I get a chance to go back, would stay again anytime.”

“This is a great resort in South Haven. Staff is really friendly and the rooms are nice. It’s about 2.5 miles to walk to the central part of South Haven for lots of restaurants and bars. I will be back!”
