“This hostel is a fantastic place to stay if you wish to be centrally located in Chinatown and close to all forms of public transit. The room was perfectly adequate, with the exception of the a/c which was fabulous. I wouldn't consider what they offered in the morning as breakfast (bread, jam, peanut butter, cereal), but it was free. They offered instant coffee and tea all day. The staff was friendly and the property was clean. I would stay here again!”

“Staff very friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and confortable. However the building where the hostal is located is not clean, the stairs need to be cleaned. ”

“It’s room to sleep in. There’s nothing particularly special or exciting about the wink. Staff are happy to help the slight passive aggressive notes on the walls can be bit jarring. This is not what you would consider a “social” hostel either, very much a place to safely store bags and to sleep. It’s location is very useful too, not far from the hawkers centre, within walking distance of the Maria sands bay and most transport links.”

“When I went to check in the dude was nowhere to be found. I walked in and asked around until I found who worked there. The gentleman was in the back with no uniform and barely knew English. He then has me wait in the lobby for 5 minutes, maybe he was making my bed, I don’t know. When I got to my bed there was no towel so I told him and he said he’d get me one once they were out of the laundry. Upon my return that evening, there still was not a towel and I had to take a shower without one which...
