“One of the best deals you could find in San Diego! I spent a long time looking for a cheap yet comfortable motel and this was the best option. Had everything you could need for a few days in the city. Room included a fridge, microwave, and TV- all big sizes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Exterior of motel also makes it a comfortable environment. The outdoor decoration and location was a bonus.”

“Diamond Head Inn was a nice, clean place to stay. The parking is absolutley horrible. 5 parking spots for 21 rooms. The additional parking had signs posted not to park between the hours of 3am-6am Mon.Fri. Leaving no where to park. If you wanted ice you had to walk two blocks to a sister hotel to get... Its a nice place to stay for one to two nights but no more.”

“The structure has been completely renovated since my last visit, improving both the general appearance and the services. The numerous bars operating within the structure were wonderful and very high quality, despite having a room that overlooked the swimming pool where music entertained guests, the room was pleasantly soundproofed and the light background music did not disturb at all.
The bar inside my room was really great!!!”

“When making the reservation I specifically requested a room with no perfume or fragrances. We had to check 3 different rooms before I could find one that had minimum amounts of fragrances. I then had to wipe down everything to get rid of the rest of the fragrances. The air conditioning trickled out air. Two of the rooms didn't even have working air-conditioning. Older Hotel but quaint. ”

“The hotel was comfortable and the staff was very helpful and professional, also giving information about the city and shops where I had to buy some facilities.
Just a small issue to be improved: the ventilator in the toilet worked 24/7: it makes no sense and a huge waste of energy (just multiply it for all the rooms): please address this tip to the hotel as a suggestion. Opinion very good on the whole. Thanks, Francesco Bonini”

“From the moment we arrived they were very welcoming. Property very clean and great food. We had our 13 year old son and he had a blast from swimming, meeting new friends, playing basketball and enjoying the access to the beach. It was simply amazing.”
