Beautiful property.
Everything was as advertised. The room is wonderful, the hot tub was amazing. It is a secluded property, very private, quiet and far enough from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to everything at the same time. The town of North Pole is about 10min away, and the Hot Springs is an hour and a half with many beautiful places to stop along the way for viewing, fishing, etc. The hosts are great people and we will stay again.

Great getaway
The location was quiet and perfect for relaxing in the hot tub watching the Northern Lights. The accommodations were clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for being away from the city but still close enough to get anywhere you wanted to go.

Amazing stay with lovely hosts
My partner and I spent a long weekend here in late August and had a splendid time. The hot tub was the correct level of toasty. Instructions from the hosts were accurate and check-in and out was a breeze. I look forward to stay with them again for my next Fairbanks trip.

Visited Fairbanks for a couple of days, and rented this lovely "cabin". It was much more than I had imagined. The amenities, the cleanliness, the overall setting... exquisite and perfect! Bypassed the outside hot tub on account of the weather; however, grabbed a good book, put epsom salts in the bathroom tub, and VOILA! Terry and Anne were exceptionally courteous and welcoming. Will definitely book again on next visit to Fairbanks.

Alaska Garden Retreat
My family and I enjoyed our stay! It was out of the city and off the beaten path, which we absolutely loved. The space was perfect for what we needed and we kept very clean. Watching the northern lights from the hot tub was special experience as well. We would definitely book here again!

Wonderful property with privacy
The property was great and everything was clean and thought out for us as guest. We were not too far from anything we wanted to do in Fairbanks, the hot springs, or even in North Pole.

Probably won’t book again.
To start this out I normally don’t leave reviews like this and a majority of it probably would have been over looked. My main issue was my check in. Check in time was 4 pm and up until then I hadn’t heard from the property owner so I shot them a message 20 mins before leaving the restaurant I was at with 20 min drive. As we got closer to the property there was still no response so I called twice and sent a text message to the same phone number, no response. I ended up getting on the phone with Vrbo and spent 45 mins while sitting in the driveway of the property getting transferred to various agents to help me, after 45 mins I finally received a message to access the property giving me the door code and such. We decided to stay as we had been driving all day. There was a lot of lint on the mirrors and the pillows had a little bit of staining, the over all cleanliness was what you would expect at a cheap hotel honestly. The hot tub was nice although the second night there the blinds to the door upstairs was half opened showing through to the main house and made relaxing a little uneasy. The first night we were there we also woke up to someone walking upstairs that was extremely heavy footed at 11pm at night. It was a very awkward stay with the series of events and I hope that it was a one off for what it’s worth but I felt I should give an honest review. Thank you for allowing us to utilize your unit but I hope this doesn’t happen to someone else and again had there not been a major issue with check in I probably wouldn’t have had much to say on here.

Beautiful little cottage type room attached to the main house with private entrance and secluded little deck with flowers and seating off entrance. Modern, clean, comfy. Hosts are very thoughtful and accommodating and allow full privacy to their guests.

We loved our stay!
Terry was a wonderful host. The first day we arrived he greeted us warmly and gave us ideas of how to spend a few free days we had before our son began his cello camp. We loved the beautiful deck area with fire pit and the hot tub was a wonderful way to relax at the end of the day.

Fairbanks weekend stay
It was absolutely like advertised. We were at a hectic weekend where my spouse was moving up and military work was crazy but it was the perfect stay for us. Very clean, side entrance made it feel like we had our own place and privacy to enjoy. The self locking door was great and you can’t discount the lockable screen door as mosquito season in Fairbanks, AK makes it difficult to enjoy a window or door open. We did not get to enjoy the hot tub or the fire pit but both were there, clean and ready for use. The hosts were great. My wife and I loved the book collection! Thank you!

Wonderful
Thank you, Terry and Anne for a welcoming stay. This separate, private room in Terry and Anne’s home had everything I needed while in town for work. It was super clean and comfortable, and the hot tub is lovely in the evenings! Highly recommend!

Such a cute place to stay. So clean, a lot of interesting items to look at, amazing, private hot tub. Easy to get in-even though my flight arrives at 2am. The owner was very sweet and left me a note and a gift. Was super kind over email when I explained I was getting in later than I’d planned. So great!!!

This property is serene and beautiful but truly only good for two maybe three nights as there is not a stove or a full-size refrigerator we were there for a week we really was looking forward to having a TV but other than that it was very enjoyable

Perfect!
We stayed at this cute little place for 4 nights. This one room rental was perfect for my husband and I. Up to date furnishings, beautiful bookcase, comfy bed. We only used the hot tub one night, however we were able to view the best Aurora show from the perfect spot that night. Terry was a great host who suggested several fun things to do while we were there. Close to Fairbanks for any needs. We definitely recommend to anyone, and hope to visit again in the future! Very clean and nice apartment
This place was great and unique. The cement floor was colored in a cool swirl pattern and was very clean. The host were very nice And suggested many great places to visit and to eat. We didn’t get to use the hot tub Because it rained the whole time we were there but the deck area is very nice And it would be a great place to view the northern lights. We felt terrible when we waterlogged the host guest book. again we apologize for getting that book wet it had so many nice comments on it. This was a great little place to stay thank you so much.

Perfect home base
This was the perfect home base for our Alaska trip. The grounds and room were beautiful, and it was a welcome, quiet refuge after a long day of catching up with family and friends. This is a beautiful place it the woods, so bring bug spray (or dont if you want the true Alaska experience lol). Terry was so accommodating and quick to answer questions, without the weird micromanaging you sometimes get in b and b situations. Just all around wonderful.

Start of Alaska Family Trip
Terry and Anne’s place is perfect. A short drive to Fairbanks and surroundings. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here with our one year old son as we began our Alaska road trip. Terry and Anne provided great recommendations and were always attentive during our stay. The hot tub is a perfect relaxing spot for any time of day. My only recommendation is bring a sleep mask if you are a light sleeper as it could be bright in summer time. Greatly recommend this place!

Beautiful Getaway
My girlfriend and I spent a long Valentine's day weekend at this beautiful getaway. The place is well maintained and clean. The hosts responded to the myriad of questions that I had before our visit. I LOVED using the outdoor hot tub and watching the beautiful auroras overhead. The owner surprised us with some very yummy pancakes Valentine's morning (something that is not usually done) that had a delicious syrup with lingonberries, birch syrup, and natural maple. I highly recommend this place for romantic getaways!
