The Space:

Nestled in the heart of Rum Point, Dragon’s Pearl is a beautifully renovated two-bedroom, two-bathroom canal-front cottage that captures the timeless charm of old Cayman while offering the modern comforts today’s travelers expect. As one of the original homes developed in the Rum Point area, this special property blends heritage character with thoughtful updates, creating a relaxed and welcoming island retreat.



Set on its own spacious parcel as a true standalone home, Dragon’s Pearl offers a level of privacy which is highly sought after in the area. No shared walls, elevators, or common spaces, just your own peaceful waterfront haven surrounded by lush tropical landscaping.



The home comfortably sleeps up to six adults, or seven guests in total when including a toddler or baby, making it ideal for couples, families, or small groups seeking both space and seclusion.



Inside, the home feels bright and inviting, with natural light streaming through large glass sliding doors thanks to its eastern orientation. The updated kitchen offers generous countertop space, ample storage, and new appliances, making it easy to prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a full evening meal. A cozy breakfast table seats four, while a built-in workspace provides a convenient spot to catch up on emails if needed.



Just beyond, the open living and dining area offers comfortable seating for everyone, including a double-sized sofa bed that provides additional sleeping space when needed. Whether gathering to watch a movie, enjoying conversation after a day at the beach, or relaxing in the reading nook while taking in views of the surrounding tropical landscape. The indoor dining table accommodates up to six guests, creating a welcoming setting for shared meals.



The spacious master bedroom features a king-sized bed, a television, and direct access to the screened patio through sliding glass doors. Its ensuite bathroom includes a double vanity and a stand-up shower, offering both space and convenience. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and is located near the second full bathroom, which includes a bathtub and shower combination, perfect for families traveling with children.



Outdoor living is where Dragon’s Pearl truly shines. With its eastern orientation, the home welcomes the prevailing northeast trade winds, allowing guests to open the sliding glass doors and enjoy a constant, refreshing breeze throughout the living areas and master bedroom. The expansive screened-in patio stretches almost the entire length of the back of the house, providing the perfect setting to take in the tropical air comfortably without concern for insects. Renowned for its unspoiled beauty, Rum Point is home to some of Cayman's finest beaches, rivaling the renowned Seven Mile Beach in many aspects.



Relaxation reigns supreme here, catering to those desiring a laid-back atmosphere however the neighborhood boasts a variety of dining options, water sports activities, and boat tours.



Just steps away from the condos' front door, guests can easily wander across for a barefoot beach escapade with snorkeling adventures and shaded hammocks at the newly reopened Rum Point Beach Club which features a daytime beachfront bar and grill, a fine dining restaurant in the evening as well as amazing watersports experiences and Stingray City tours with Red Sails Sports who operate from this location.



Explore further south along Water Cay Road to discover Kaibo, offering a coffee shop, as well as a daytime beachfront bar and grill and an upscale beachfront fine dining experience upstairs in the evenings.
