“There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. ”

I wanted to take my granddaughter on a 2-day adventure before she heads off to college this August.
When we pulled into the inn's drive, we noticed how lovely the manicured grounds were with its gorgeous flowers beds and gardens. This inn is huge and very comfortable. “In fairness, my wife and I went for one night to check it out on our way to Chicago for the weekend. We're also senior citizens. We hit a cold & wet day on June 24th. Just like real camping, it puts a damper on the experience. We couldn't use the pool or comfortably walk the trails. “To move the review to a 5 there are three opportunities:
1. Breakfast is served between 9:00 - 9:30 am without exception.
2. We were notified the morning of our arrival that there is only street/public parking. An unwelcomed surprise. Very inconvenient for a resort community.
3. There was no room freshening. We had to request fresh towels and the waste baskets were full after our two night stay.”
