“Book early during summer...we booked the last room available at the Belvedere. Great owner/place, service, cocktails and best dinner we had. Not so fortunate on the last room of choice as it was on third floor a super squeaky bed which led to an uncomfortable night sleep. All in all, a great place!”

The room was comfortable and clean, and we loved being able to walk to all the shops, etc. There was reserved parking, which was very helpful. We did not have the breakfast provided each morning, but one morning we saw the food as it was being prepared and it looked really good!”

“This is a charming little place and we really enjoy staying here whenever we are in this part of Michigan. The receptionist seems like he’d rather be anywhere else but working and is not very friendly. The gift shop is also a mess and full of clutter. Otherwise, we really like it. They provide ice from a cooler and wine openers if you are in need. Parking slots are oddly designed, but convenient. Restaurants and like Phil’s and The Southerner are delicious. For fun, rent a bike and ride around...

“I was not thrilled when I saw the pictures of the bedrooms and lobby online, but I booked because of the availability, the price and how close it is to the beach. When we arrived, the place was noticeably updated. The room is spacious, modern looking and clean. The beds and pillows comfortable. The staff was kind. Decent continental breakfast. “My family of 4 stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for a 4 day swim meet in the area. The room size was perfect and the beds were comfortable. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, and breakfast had a wide selection. It was in a good area of town - quiet, safe, and within close distance to activities. We were very happy with the stay. I did hear a train in the 7AM hour every morning but the rest of my family did not. We would definitely stay here again!”

“Everything during my stay was great. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was how cold the indoor pool was. It was freezing at all times, i couldn't enjoy it during my stay, but my kids did, so that was a win for them. Hot tubs were great and I loved that they extended hours for adult's only. Food at restaurant was great and reasonably priced. Complimentary breakfasts were awesome and always well stocked with food during serving time. Highly recommend hotel. ”
