“We had previously eaten at this hotel and were so impressed that we decided pay another visit and stay the night. We were not disappointed. The room was excellent. Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. We'll be back! ”

“Il Waterfront Inn si trova a pochi passi dalla Westward Ho beach, una spiaggia immensa soggetta ad un’incredibile variabilità a seconda della marea, ideale anche per chi vuole imparare il surf. La camera è pulita e molto spaziosa con la macchina per il caffè/te. Il ristorante offre una buona cucina inglese e la colazione, abbondante a scelta, è inclusa nel prezzo. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile. Il parcheggio, anch’esso incluso nel prezzo, è proprio dietro la struttura”

“On our arrival, we were greeted warmly by the receptionist who informed us we had been upgraded for our one-night stay. This was a lovely surprise and the room was fabulous. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We felt so relaxed and didn’t leave the hotel. We booked in for a meal which was fantastic. “Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size. Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. ”
