Check in was very average Food service was terrible. Ordered pizza only to be told 20 mts later that they didn’t have all the ingredients and then ordered crumbed squid that was very over cooked. Almost inedible. I did receive a free drink and the room was great

All of the above comments. If there was a negative aspect the shower head was a little too big splashing the bathroom floor - slippery. Otherwise a most enjoyable experience. Will book next time when kitchen is open.

Honestly, I never fill these surveys out. But the service from the team behind the bar on the day I checked in was exceptional! Extremely accommodating, and went out of their way to ensure my out of hours check in was smooth. Everything was great.

We are a couple in their late 70's. We were told our room would be ready at 12 noon. We arrived shortly after that and found that it was not ready. We attended a nephew's funeral in the afternoon and my husband was quite unwell when we got back and had trouble getting up the stairs. About 5 minutes later someone came to the door and offered us alternative accommodations but as it meant tackling the stairs again I refused it. On second thoughts I should have accepted but my husband was not well enough to have to move at that time. My problem is if that unit was available in the afternoon, why were we not offered it on arrival, even if it cost more I would have preferred it, especially as it apparently had its own en suite.

Expedia allowed me to book a room that was unavailable so had to get another room for the second bed. Caused some dramas but the hotel ended up giving me a 2nd room at no extea charge so that was nice.

Convenient and cheap place to stay when traveling. Staff were friendly and helpful. Could have done with a small desk in the room but otherwise for the price excellent value.

The accommodation was comfortable and clean. The lady at reception on arrival was rude and very in helpful. Check-out customer service was a lot better.

Don't stay here on a Public Holiday
we arrived on a WA public holiday, not aware as not PH in our state. Not informed when booking, received txt 4 days before arrival to advise PH and everything closed, key to room would be in a security box, no information as to location of box and that our room was offsite. Only stayed 1 night everything still closed when we left at 0930am the next day.

Excellent Hotel
The Hotel & Staff were exeptional. The meals were Beautiful although a tad overpriced. Having said that they were no more overpriced than most restaurants through the Wheatbelt. We will stay again next time we are in Northam.

We did not realise it had shared bathrooms. 3 bathrooms for the whole top floor of rooms. The bathrooms were filthy by morning, each time I had a shower there were public hairs on the shower floor, they only get cleaned once a day which is not enough. We also did not realise the room is just a bedroom with fridge and tv. If you want to have coffee or more water you have to go to the bathrooms for access to water which is very unhygienic. We couldn't wash out our cups as there were no facilities in the room to do it. It's extremely basic and not worth it. They shouldn't be allowed to have shared bathrooms and no kitchen facilities in this day especially with covid. Ship cabins and caravan park cabins are way better than this. Stay here as a last resort. The only good thing is the rooms are serviced daily which thankfully refills a litre bottle of water in fridge our only access to water. But that is honestly it. Never again!

"It was a nice clean an close to everything we needed"....the response to guest before you. I know that we take very good care of our non-ensuited rooms built in 1907. The rooms ARE well furnished, comfortable and kept kleen. So are the bathrooms. If you go for cheaper, that will be what you get. We also do offer ensuited self-catering luxury rooms. Please booke direct in future to prevent missed information.

Lovely accommodation & the pub is good too with great atmosphere. My only complaint is our room had a double bed, when the Roma description said it had a Queen bed. Apart from that, I couldn’t fault our stay.
