“We had previously eaten at this hotel and were so impressed that we decided pay another visit and stay the night. We were not disappointed. The room was excellent. Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. We'll be back! ”

“We chose this cottage due to its location in Appledore and that it's dog friendly. We stayed in Apple Tree cottage. It was a lovely surprise to see what lay behind the No 5 door. The cottage was clean and cosy. Tastefully decorated. It was well equipped with what you need for a comfortable stay. Free WiFi. TV with Net Flix etc.Nice bathroom with bath and shower. It is close to all the amenities Appledore has to offer. It is an ideal base to discover North Devon, which is beautiful. The garden...

“The property is well located for amenities, it is in a nice area and is modern and well maintained. As a holiday stay it was nice accommodation for a week, however, there was hardly any room to swing a cat in the bedrooms and the beds are not particularly roomy or comfortable - but that could just our preference. The rental price was top end for the area in April 2021. It will be interesting to see what comments visitors have from July/August re prices. Overall it was clean, modern and pleasant...
