Esci dalla porta principale e puoi pescare, nuotare, galleggiare, andare in bicicletta, fare escursioni o semplicemente rilassarti su una sedia Adirondack di fronte al fiume Sacandaga. Sedersi sul ponte e guardare le aquile e falchi pescatori immersioni per i pesci! Cinque minuti a piedi verso sinistra e vedere le cascate vicine! La nostra casa si trova sul fiume Sacandaga, sulla punta del grande lago Sacandaga, dove è anche possibile trascorrere una giornata in acqua. La pittoresca cittadina di Northville è a 5 minuti in auto e ha molti ristoranti e negozi. Ci sono convenientemente situato vicino al Parco degli Adirondack e il sentiero Northville-Placid per grandi escursioni. Questa casa vacanza unica è anche una grande vacanza invernale. A pochi minuti dal lago Lapland per lo sci XC e vicino a Gore, Royal e Oak Mountains per lo sci alpino o lo snow tubing! La casa si trova tra 2 laghi per la pesca sul ghiaccio e motoslitta. E 'solo 45 minuti di auto dal Lago George e Saratoga Racetrack.
Questa è una bella casa in legno che porta l'atmosfera Adirondack nel tuo spazio vitale. Warm up davanti alla stufa a gas controllato a distanza! Al primo piano vi è un concetto aperto cucina completamente attrezzata e soggiorno. C'è anche una camera da letto matrimoniale e un grande bagno con vasca idromassaggio interna e jacuzzi.
All'esterno c'è un grande ponte anteriore e una veranda riparata.
Al piano superiore sono altre 2 camere da letto e un altro bagno di servizio. Ci sono fantastiche viste panoramiche dal soggiorno, cucina e camera da letto al piano superiore.
Scoprirai che la casa è ben arredata con tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno. Non avrai bisogno di acqua in bottiglia qui! La nostra acqua proviene da un pozzo profondo forato ed è doppiamente filtrata per gusto e purezza.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. The location on the river was beautiful and our kids did not hesitate to jump in and wade in the river as soon as we arrived. We took advantage of the beautiful surroundings and did several hikes in the area. Our first morning we walked just down the road to see the cute waterfall. The location of the cabin is great. The town of Northville is close by and has several places to eat and some stores for any necessities you may have forgotten. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed making dinner one night and having leisurely breakfasts each morning. Sipping our coffee and tea out on the screened in porch was the best part of everyday. The sound of the river flowing by is so relaxing. We spent the first part of our week hopping from hotel to hotel as we toured colleges in the region, so coming to the cabin for a few days at the end of the week was so welcomed. It really was a wonderful way to relax and recharge in beautiful surroundings.

Perfect Adirondack Relaxation

If we could give this property more than 5 stars, we would. We only rated "contact with property manager" 1 star because we never had to contact the property manager. Everything was wonderfully cozy and immaculately clean. The area was quiet and the views magnificent!

Winter Skiing Get-a-Way

We spent 3 nights and 4 days in this absolutely adorable cabin with gorgeous views of the river and lake. The pictures in the listing do not do the cabin justice - it's even more beautiful than it looks in the pics. We were 6 adults and it was super comfortable for all of us, even after two long days of cross country skiing. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathroom had all the amenities we needed with lots of towels. The shower was really good! We would love to find a time to come back!

Beautiful Setting Sun or Snow

We very much enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin. We were belted with 6 inches of snow the day after arrival, which was beautiful. Thankfully, the owners left very detailed and well thought out instructions to not park under the roof overhang. If I wouldn't have known, our car would have been buried in a couple feet of snow a day later when all of the snow slid off the roof. The cabin is well equipped with top notch appliances, very comfortable beds and all of the meal preparation related items you could need. It was probably the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Best little getaway!

This was exactly what we were looking for when we were planning a weekend away. It is 10 minutes driving distance from the little town, which has a Stewarts, restaurant, Chinese food, pizza place, and a Tops. The atmosphere was so peaceful, right on the water with a beautiful view. We spent a lot of time around the fire pit just listening to nature - would definitely visit again!

Great Adirondack House

We loved our stay at this fantastic Northville House. It is a warm and cozy place with a wonderful screened in porch and a fantastic deck overlooking the Scanadaga River. The Kitchen provided everything one needs to create great meals. The living room has very comfortable chairs and couch with a good size tv that connects to any of the streaming platform. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are so comfortable. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get away in comfort in the midst of beauty

The entire stay was perfection. I have stayed at 4 star hotels, in Europe, Disney more times than I can count...I have NEVER enjoyed a stay more! The quiet, the views, the attention to detail was superlative. We can not wait to come back for another stay.

Amazing Weekend

Had an amazing weekend celebrating my father’s retirement. The house was amazing, gorgeous views and the sound of the river flowing was so peaceful. While this was my first time renting a home, my father and brother have a lot of experience, they both said it was their favorite stay. They loved the notes displayed throughout the house giving detailed instructions and information about the home. The large binder filled with information was amazing we read through it and used the information inside to rent a boat for the day, had an amazing time on the lake fishing and soaking in the sights. It was an amazing weekend spent with family in an amazing home. Thank you so much for a great weekend!

Beautiful location - Wonderful homeowners

This property was the perfect get away location for our group of friends looking for rest and relaxation. We happened to visit during the biggest snowfall of the winter and watching the snow come down with the beautiful river in the background was so very peaceful. The property itself is immaculate. The beds are very comfortable. The woodstove is a charming touch. The property owners communication was fantastic. We were concerned about snow removal given the situation but the owners ensured that things were covered in a timely manner. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this property.

Fantastic getaway

The property looked amazing on the VRBO site - but was even better in real life! We loved relaxing in the house while enjoying the beautiful view of the river. The house was clean, warm and homey and was very well equipped. There were many options for beautiful hikes in the vicinity but our favorite was hiking on the road along the river. We would highly recommend this house and fully intend on returning.

Perfect getaway!

Our experience at Bjorn and Sharon’s cabin has been wonderful. Everything was spotless and prepared for us to have the best time. The hosts’ have been very hospitable from the beginning to the very end. They were very generous to share ideas with us for activities to do in the area. There was a weather alert in the area and Bjorn kindly texted us to ensure we were informed. The cabin is well stocked with all utensils for cooking. You will also find books to get yourself educated about the surroundings, different trail routes and history of the area. What is not to like at Bjorn and Sharon’s cabin! We would love to come back! Feeling very grateful for them to share this gem in such gorgeous part of the world! Thank you!

Lovely riverfront cabin.

We just wanted to get away for a few days and this was an excellent choice. Super quiet area right across the street from the river. House was very comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed with everything anyone would need. We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing retreat with incredible view

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and cozy. The location is great, with many hiking trails only a short drive away. The view of the river and mountains from the many windows and front deck is amazing! The kitchen was well equipped. In the evenings we really enjoyed sitting by a fire next to the river with the relaxing sound of the water.

We highly recommend this Adirondack getaway. This is our second (not our last) stay at this property. The property is very clean and is exactly as described. The hosts are wonderful. They are accommodating and very responsive. You will not be disappointed.
